Oh crap, sorry, ignore the first part of my first review - that's what I get for forgetting to check the author first D: still, it is true that I couldn't get through Psychic Serpent, though I don't dislike it and I think it's really cool how much it affected the fandom and fic-writing community. :)

Psychic Serpent isn't really my thing, but sometimes I find fics set in that 'verse and, like this one, I really enjoy them :)
I like how you've gone into werewolf 'culture' as formed around Ministry regulations. The lycanthropy-as-HIV thing is obviously very well-known at this point, but not as many people are aware of how the legal persecution of gay and/or HIV men in Britain affected subcultural norms, and I don't know whether that's something you've researched but your fic very much echoes the real-life history of that. Nice one!
Also, this is silly, but I feel the need to point out that Brighton doesn't have a sand beach; it's shingle. Famously a shingle beach, in fact. Which means no smell of sand, just smooth, sea-tumbled rocks.
