I always wait for new chapters of this fic the most. I love the idea so much!

Okay so let me get this straight...Ron was completely blind for a while and when Fawkes came to rescue him that was when he started seeing magic? Is that it?

I'm so glad to see you're back! The scene of Ron's resurrection and how he didn't even get the chance to feel good before realizing he couldn't save Lupin and spiralled right back into self-loathing was pure agony ;_;
And shit that seems like the coolest tattoo to ever have as well. I wonder what Hermione is doing up there in her Grangercave and her paperclips. :'D

Oh, I was so happy to see an update on one of your stories; congratulations on getting a new computer! This was a seriously good chapter. I'm glad we finally got some answers regarding Fawkes. I had already realized that he must have saved Ron from that icy death, but it never occurred to me he had to sacrifice himself. But he's so magical, I'm not sure he can truly die.

I liked Harry being worried and upset about Ron being on this mission while blind. Actually, being blind might be advantageous to Ron, since the sight of where he suffered so much trauma might be distracting on a dangerous mission. But he'll be seeing it in a totally different way, which will probably help Ron focus.

Great chapter in a great story, thanks for posting.

I am so happy to see an update. I loved the whole section of Ron's memory of how Fawkes saved him - and how it is Fawkes' fire that is helping Ron stay sane. So Ron that he didn't feel himself worthy of saving. Ron's tatoo is great - I can just picture it.

I also loved the detail about Ron making so many allies just by being himself. As damaged as he is Ron is also really powerful and very resourceful. Hope Harry's over-protectiveness doesn't screw things up.

Thanks again for updating - I have really missed this story.

Thank you so much for updating! I read this whole fic in one sitting a couple of weeks ago, and didn't realize it was a WIP, so this has been hard-going!

I love your works so very very much. They are incredibly difficult to read, as Ron is my very favorite character and he is straight up tortured in your longer fics- but your world building, your character building and more are just so strong and amazing.

Most people's original characters are easy to confuse and not very memorable or interesting. You are the exact opposite. Your new characters are always intriguing and I want to know MORE about them, see MORE of them.

I get so frustrated with how Harry Hermione and others pile on Ron the way they do- same with
stay standing'- seeing how they abuse ron and he just TAKES it is SO HARD. But then, when you look at the books- it's compeltely how they work. I love Harry and Hermione, but those two NEVER apologize first to Ron (if they even do! Like their apologies, where there ARE apologies, are weak as shit.) God, I really really hope we get to see some character growth for them and see them be kind to Ron and just stop being such assholes. They might not KNOW everything, but they SHOULDN'T HAVE TO in order to give him the love and support he deserves. He's earned it. He'd NEVER treat them with the same vindictive coldness they treat him with for so long. Like, the second anyone showed a hint of 'innocence' Ron would immediately follow the threads and be like 'well obviously!' like, all a loved one has to do is show a HINT of kindness, not even real remorse, and he immediatey is forgiving them and apologizing for fucking breathing wrong.

Sorry, I'm just very passionate about Ron Weasley (that's why I draw him ALL THE TIME on tumblr) and how he DESERVES BETTER.

i REALLY REALLY want some comeuppance for H and HR sometimes. Like, feel guilty you absolute monsters! Be kind! Be as loyal to Ron as he ALWAYS is to YOU. BELIEVE in him how he does YOU. I hope to see it in your fics. I want Tonks or someone to just let 'em have it. Like, screw the agreements- I want them to wallow in it, and feel the horror of how they've been acting. :(
