The most heartbreaking part of all of this is Molly and the remaining Weasley's. Molly especially. One person I've never imagined broken on the HP universe is Molly. You wrote it splendidly.

Was it me, or did every Ron fan reading this know without a doubt that Spitfire is Ron no matter what physical description was given of him? I mean, it may just be the title as well, but still :) Awesome description of heroic efforts from a non biased character, I'm grinning like an idiot about this. I shouldn't be, this is a terrifying prison our werewolf friend is talking about...

Doesn't it figure that the one time people do not grossly underestimate what Ron is capable of is when he's suspected of being a Death Eater? I love stories like this, where Ron is cast as the bad guy by the warding public but is actually a good guy. I assume, any way, knowing the author's predilections there and having an affinity for capable!Ron myself. Or is this dead!Ron? Is Harry seeing a ghost?

It's never really explained what happens to Fawkes very well in the books and I only just realized that while reading this chapter. That aside, I love the furry personality attraction and think this a a great explanation for why this Phoenix would pick Ron!

As a married someone who still identifies as Ace, I struggle to both read and write romance. Honestly, I find your plot and character driven stories that DO NOT revolve around romance to be very refreshing. Don't let the naysayers get you down on that. I didn't read the Harry Potter series for the romance, and i don't actively seek it out in fan fiction either. You do you and don't apologize for that. Now, that out of the way, another Ron story! Exciting!

Ughhhhhhh Harry and Hermione are so frustrating! They should be celebrating! Throwing their arms around Ron and never letting go! Who cares why he left?! He’s back now and he’s not a traitor. Sigh. Wonderful chapter. Waiting on the edge of my seat for the next one!
