I’m really starting to like Derrick and Ryland. THIS is how you write three-dimensional OCs. Not through voices-of-reason whose temper tantrums are ALWAYS justified in some way, but by having them make stupid choices that are ACTUALLY CALLED OUT!

I know I’m definitely rooting for Mabel and Ryland. They just seem so perfect for each other.

As for Derrick, his constant denial was annoying, but at least his actions were called out and he’s starting to improve himself.

Okay, the flashback to that dance and Dipper hanging with Derrick is nice. But with the mention of PLATINUMPAZ, I hope that we see Pacifica's secret discovered by Dipper.
