Well, canonically speaking, the shapeshifter was referencing how dipper looked in ‘Not What He Seems’ when the rift emerged, so Wendy’s likely not going to die, but something terrible and unexpected is going to happen. As for the melting when left out too long bit? Most people would assume that has a relation to heat, but I’m going to wager that it involves time. That is, Wendy being too involved this time around and it hurting her badly at some point.

And for the Red Riding hood bit? Oh no! The big bad werewolf! Let’s face it tho: Mabel dated a vampire, and met three others; it’s not so unreasonable. Also: Because of the fact that therianthropy naturally makes humans physically stronger and removes most of their physical weaknesses (think teen wolf, which was surprisingly accurate when it comes to that), I’d totally be interested in a male shifter in his human form (LOL).

I was kinda hoping that Mabel would keep the dragon...that is probably a very bad idea. And yay! First kiss!

Okay so I wanted to post a review for a while now, but I wanted to finish reading all that you had with this story before I did. Let me first start out by just saying that this story is literally the best Gravity Falls fan fiction I have been able to find so far!

You stay true to all of the characters' personalities, the hilarity, the jokes, the seriousness, the life lessons - it reminds me so much of the actual show that sometimes I forget I'm reading a fan fiction and not a rough draft of a sequel haha!

And even your OCs like Derrick and Ryland (which I was a little on the fence about at first) are just so well written that they blend seamlessly into the world! They also add new tensions and provide awesome story arcs.

Okay and now I am dying for the next chapter to find out what happens with the shapeshifter, but I totally hear you on being busy and going out of town. I'm actually leaving for a week long trip myself in a day. So, please take your time in writing as you need it, but I love this story so I am happy to hear that you plan to continue it. Great job!

Um, I was actually Benjamin, too... it was my old guest review name... hehe. Anyways, yea. I believe that there's three people abourd the Mayland ship, myself included. Anyways, on to the chapter! I'll be honest, I probably enjoyed Mabel and Ryland's date more than the bunker scenes, mostly because I'm a sucker for comedy. I enjoyed Jeff's multiple, failing attempts at winning over Mabel's heart. The gnome dude sure knows how to make us chuckle! Wait, maybe that's you... Anyways! On the other end of the spectrum, we have the very serious, emotional, character-building side of things. The crew is now in the bunker, looking for the Quantum Destabilizer. Emotions break loose in the process, bad memories are brought back to the surface, and all-in-all, they're not enjoying themselves. Then agan, very few people would enjoy saving the world... especially those who have done it once already. And now Dipper's locked in a closet. Woopee! So... the answer is simpler, eh? Well, time to get back to the wiki. Maybe it'll have some answers.

...Oh my god. I was thinking that Derrick was the one who the shapeshifter was pretending to be, but it was Dipper!? What's going to happen! And what's going to happen to Ryland and Mabel?! Are they going to be okay!?

I did find the birds very amusing though. :)

I love McGucket, but sometimes these characters are frustrating.

Honestly? The second I noticed Dipper’s OOC behavior, I questioned it, and then once the generator went out I knew for an absolute fact. Still. Color me surprised, and a job well done. Also, I find it interesting that Shifty claims to have never seen Ford when the man raised him from an egg like he was his own child. Talk about loyalty, amiright?

Hmm... I've done some digging, and now I have reason to believe that The Heartbreaker is Soos. Remember the Season 2 episode Soos and The Real Girl? Heartbreaker. Also, I'm thinking Mr. Paranoid is Ford.

I really hope Shifty comes in!
