Okay, this story arc will be fun. Dipper goes alien mummy hunting after an argument with his family and Pacifica joins. At the same time, Mabel and the others have to keep the government away from any supernatural stuff in town. This will be interesting. Especially Pacifica helping Dipper out and probably getting closer to him.

Glad to see something finally went right for Thompson, but I was kind of hoping he would be able to get together with Wendy. With everything we've seen from him so far, it would felt like a nice touch. Great chapter by the way, Mabel is psychotic!

Yo try listening to Sabaton. They’re great, probably the kind of band that Derrick can use to get a nerd like Dipper into rock.

This all seems a bit much just to get Thompson together with a bunch of friends who weren’t friends to begin with. I hope in the end, Thompson realizes he doesn’t need them and finds better friends.

I loved seeing Derrick act like he did when it came to music. His reactions to the band were hilarious. Especially with Mabel's interactions as well. Now let's see how the rest of this "episode" goes. I'm enjoying the humor and I'm excited for what happens after this first July episode.

Dipper was so pot calling the kettle black in this chapter. I mean if my memory is correct he stupidly decided to try to help Wendy, even though Mabel knew they should’ve left well enough alone.

I respect Thompson for being so loyal, but I really wish I can slap him for being around god awful "friends" who abuse him. Wendy, not as much as the others. He deserves a happy ending.

Also, a group of friends held together by one person and broken apart because that person is gone and two of them entered a relationship just means they weren't truly friends to begin with.

Gotta get the ball rolling, this is great stuff.

Anyways, most famous stories and fanfics delve into mythology from Japan, Romans/Greek, Egyptian, Nordic, etc. In my honest opinion, I think you should delve into Native American and Voodoo mythology. Not enough people use them and I think it's a great way to take the road less traveled.

Especially North American Legends like the Goatman and Skinwalkers. Yeah, I watch a lot of Ghost Adventures. The kind of show Dipper would watch.

So I did share this idea with another GF fanfic author here. I'm sure most of us have played Call of Duty and at least know the Zombies map "Buried" right? What if Dipper, while exploring mining tunnels that are suppose to be haunted (Seriously, just about every mine shaft in America is fucking haunted), he falls into a hole and finds himself in an old town buried underground?

I'm saying it's Old Town Gravity Falls, but it's buried and forgotten. Like Dipper finds old artifacts, even the bones of its inhabitants. Maybe he finds the ghost of a young woman who can make the dead rise and he has to help her move on?

Just a thought, maybe this woman is an ancestor of Pacifica's? Trying to set up an adventure between only Dipper and Pacifica while the others try to find them.
