You just said the one co tradiction about harem anime. "There'll be one winner and many losers."

That is NOT how a harem works! Most harem shows are just a race to be the GF, an usually pointless race since First Girl tends to win.

The handful of harem anime that do have a harem go hit or miss on whether the romance actually makes sense or not.

I like action harem anime and magical girl anime cuz they tend to have the girls be a legit badass, not just a distressed damsel.

First review and im stunned at the worldbuilding and absolute amazingness of this fic.

I love how the foreshadows pay off, especislly witht eh reveal that kinoko and yui are from the magic girl legion, with yui likely being the imperator.

The fact thst there IS a magical girl legion. And the way you adjusted references/shout outs like captain planet and several others is just perfect.

OFA's lightning effect... its really hard to tell whether its real or not. Nobody ever comments on it, nor does it seem to affect actual things in reality.

holy fuck STOP IT WITH THE ANGST. i dont CARE anymore. every fuckign chater he starts bitching and moaning about something new, its obnoxious. someone as mentally fucked as him shouldnt even be allowed to be a hero, not without years of therapy first.

this is torture to read. in a bad way. like we get it, he's a depressed whiny sack of shit, you dont need to remind us every few paragraphs. spread the shittiness out a bit, it just feels like misery porn sometimes.

ill be honest, his CONSTANT angst, freak outs, and whiny crybaby moments are getting old. its alright to have a flawed character, its NOT alright to have a character thats nothing but flaws.
