This was breathtaking. I haven’t read anything in such a long time that made me feel so much. I honestly cried. This story just made me so happy to read, thank you.

Hi! Just wanted to let you know that I found this fanfic to be absolutely lovely. Such a sweet story so deliciously written. It's not everyday that I can say a singe kiss had me on my toes for what felt like decades but this fic did just that. Wow that was amazing.
Angsty Zuko was absolutely heart breaking but the whole last scene between Zuko and Katara, from the fight to the heart to heart talk was so emotionally charged (for me anyway) that I didn't even realise I was holding my breath or was in near tears :').

I am so glad my tea us nearly ready all this reading over delicious sounding food has made me hungry xD.

I wanted to rage at Katara when she whipped Zuko's face xD.
But on my heart that angst following that water whip was really good plus they got to have a proper talk and are now official friends x

Loving this story so far, I would prefer this over the actual show where Katara forgives Zuko almost instantaneously lol. Just favorited and followed this story:)

Too lazy to log in, but I’m glad I got the chance to finish reading this. Really good story! I enjoyed seeing Zuko and Katara get closer. I’m so happy they got together at the end. Also think her healing him with bloodbending was a nice touch.

This was absolutely beautiful. From beginning to end. It was realistic and had me wishing that this was canon.

Katara’s growth in this story was perfect. Even though she forgave Zuko, she was still a little angry and I loved that she realized that and realized how wrong it was to lash out at him. But in the process, she realized just how abused Zuko was. And that helped her going forward on how to help him.

The Gaang is just perfect and heartwarming and wonderful and I love love love how you wrote them. Suki and Sokka were wonderful as always. I love that you showed that strong, immovable Toph is also a little girl and vulnerable and looks at Zuko like a brother.

THE SLOW BURN! Ah. It was MAGICAL! Not to mention I was literally sobbing by the time Iroh showed up and Zuko was dying. Sobbing. The whole time I kept thinking about blood bending and just shaking in frustration at no one thinking about using it. And then FINALLY Katara did! And then I cried some more when Zuko woke up!

Sokka’s little speech to Zuko was adorable and touching and perfect! (I know I might be overusing the word perfect) (but that’s cause this whole fic is perfect).

And Iroh! Okay, your version of what happened to Lu Ten is canon. I won’t take no for an answer. From anyone. Because it makes SO MUCH SENSE! This whole time, since the series aired, my personal theory was that Ozai somehow had something to do with his death. I mean, the man was okay with killing his own son for the thrown. Why not off his nephew for a chance?

But your theory? That’s better. Because yes, losing a son might’ve made Iroh want to give up an entire siege, or, more likely like Azula mentioned in Zuko Alone, he would’ve wanted to burn the city to the ground in revenge. It makes perfect sense that for Iroh to have made such a 180. To have not only surrendered, but to turn ‘traitor’ and become the leader of an organization like the White Lotus, something big must’ve happened. It makes perfect sense that Lu Ten was against the war and died trying to save people. Ahhh. I cried some more reading that.

You. Are so talented. And I can’t believe it took me this long to run into such an amazing story. I have NEVER EVER cried so much reading a fic. It was perfect!

What to say? Simply loved it! Its so SO FLUFFLY AND PURE. Postponing their encounter may have been a little mean of you just to make us more anxious, but it was just as I thought with little cute-pie Zuko asking for permission to kiss 3
And the family relationships? Everything we needed in life! I will forever protect Sokka and Suki 3
I'll wait anxiously for the complementary stories
