| WingLiger496 chapter 36 . 7/16/2007
Wow...I just love this series. And it is official, it has taken me EXACTLY 1 day to read both NA and ROC in direct sequence, no pauses. Yes, I'm insane and have crazy fast reading skillz...
Kan't wait to read TOD! This series is UBER Amazing! Deffinetley telling my friends about this trilogy.. Love how Bit's off his rocker, that's how he should be.
LONG LIVE SH33P'S THRILLING UBER DESTRUCTION! *laughs insanley*
| Spazzcat-Katori chapter 2 . 2/1/2007
I was listening to some various anime themes during this chapter, and there's a couple that REALLY suit sections of the chapter:
For Bit's slaughter, I recommend 'Wheel of Destiny' by See-saw,
and for the Vega/Kale flashback/fight section, it works well with 'Sasuraibito' (I don't know who it's by, but it's from Zoids, apparently)
| OmegaMewtwo chapter 36 . 3/1/2004
Awsome series, can't wait for the third to come out. I like what you've done with the characters, and how you introduced the original characters into the main plot. Will the third be the final in the series, or will there be more?
| Vega Obscura the KIng chapter 36 . 2/24/2004
"Vega Obscura the King: God wont save you, Im bribing him D"
*sing-song mocking* OH YER GOIN TO HEL FOR THAT ONE! lol. If God wont save us, then Jesus can! SAVE US JESUS!
"hed been released from the great Green Haired Prison of Osojiggleh Doom"
took me a double read of osojiggleh to get it...lmao. Good shite...good shite...hope ToD is this good as well. (I know it will be)
| The Big Fisch chapter 36 . 2/23/2004
Holy fuck-monkey bajesus?
And how much sanity did you whore out to this project? Nevermind, the number would be too large for my mind to comprehend. Your new method of writing the liger in combat is effective, a much easier read. I'd make some sarcastic remark about Kyle getting the leading role, but I'm afraid that my sarcasm glands would explode. Anyways, between the after-math of the Hellwalker battle, Vega's long awaited return to the battlefield, and Bit bitching some more of Rommel's forces, I'd say its a good end to Reign of Chaos. I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed this story. It is brilliantly done, and inspiration to get off my ass and finish a god damned story. If you ever go professional, I would seriously look forward to reading your works. Congrats on a great story. I highly anticipate the arrival of Tides of Darkness.

| Chaotic-Swordsman-Brad chapter 36 . 2/23/2004
its over. those words are something i never wanted to hear in relation to ROC.
This is such a momumental event that i'm not going to say anything else and just sit in awe and silence at this masterpiece.
| Akino Ame chapter 36 . 2/22/2004
*takes a deep breath. Exhales*
You are so lucky I'm listening to calming _Witch Hunter Robin_ music right now, Sh33p after I've read all of this. Otherwise I'd be halfway towards being Abbie right now (though less fangirlish of course).
*calls about the great Powers of Dave* From the Review Rubric of Great Justice, here is my decree:
A: An intense, gripping plot where the sh*t hits the fan so often that we need a permanent cleaning crew. Villains are wonderfully evil and the characters are beautifully rounded. And a great controversy for a while on Chapman's affiliation. Bonus points for Al and being brave enough to kill so many people. And as far as I can see, it's cliche-free.
You have done an excellent job on this, Sh33p. Tides of Darkness is bound to be just as if not more impressive than this. I look forward to seeing how our heroes and villains will fare in TOD. Till then!

Such beauty in such hardness.. This chapter is perfect.
Engel fits the Nyx scene so well that I knew to start playing it even tho I had lost track of the scenes. You've done an awesome job here.
Could you please get me some scented oil tho? People are being annoyed by the smells emenating from my head...
I'm not going to discuss the chapter in detail because there's nothing I found that felt wrong or didn't fit. It all seemed perfect. Whatever your doing, keep it up.
Hope TOD comes soon...
| Rhade chapter 35 . 2/9/2004
Oh, I've been pretty good, actually. Busy, things have been hectic, but good.
Uhm, let's just say that I really, really, REALLY liked it. THIS is why you're the first person I check on - absolutely wonderful.
I can't believe you scared me like that though - I *like* Mark. *sniffle*
Very good stuff, you're hands down the best Zoids writer I've ever seen.
| Illidan chapter 35 . 2/6/2004
Beautiful. A work of art. Read at 5 AM, as all great books must be read at. This fight scene "grabbed me" as none of your other recent ones have (harabec, Bit vs. the endless genos, etc).
Bill rox. GO BILL CHAPMAN! Can he be assimilated into normal society again tho?
Bah, it doesn't matter. None of your characters except maybe Leon could fit into normal society anyway. :D
I am looking forward to TOD.. But the horrible mindfucking I shall receive scares me.. I wish you could just do a bit of mental torture... but that would ruin your stories grandeur.
*runs away screaming but there's nowhere to run to because Sh33p is inside his mind laughing maniacally destroying everything that looks useful, throwing stuff around, and jumping up and down on blobs of grey matter*
| pointytilly chapter 35 . 2/6/2004
Assuming the italics and the like are already in it and you have Word, have it HTML-ify the thing, and then open it in Wordpad and use find-replace to clean up Word's sloppy HTML. It's easier than adding five million paragraph breaks, imo...
And yay for Holst's The Planets, for it makes a good soundtrack to almost anything. I rarely have anything on the lists.
Good writing on the battle-scene-of-doom...those things are so hard to do without getting repetitive, especially if focusing on a ceratin style, like high-speed battle or fighting a Seismo gone wrong. The only really tiny nitpicky thing I noticed is that you tend to use "synthesized (sound)" to describe Shadow Fox noises a lot.
| Akino Ame chapter 35 . 2/5/2004
Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm glad to see that you updated because I was afraid the US Homeland Security hauled you away (my friend and I were talking about the time she mentioned breaking into the Pentagon on IM and her comp. shut down from a third party). With all the stuff you do to these people, it's a wonder they haven't tried to commit you or something. And yes, I am insane and quite proud of it too. I pride myself on having deep intellectual conversations (that usually end with the mental equivalent of computer parts flying around) with the schizophrenic voices I call muses. And I'm glad to see you could find some of my crazy ideas plausible. My sister still thinks I'm nuts.
*munches on cookie* Now, as for this, I pity your poor fingers. The writing itself is long, detailed, and incredibly emotional, ensuring that all of us will have a nice ten or so hours of reading this. And adding in the HTML... *shakes head* Bet that hurt. FFN constantly screws up my Microsoft Word HTML, and I don't know how how to do regular HTML yet, so I respect anyone who can pull off a story of this length with virtually no errors. And though we only had one of the Big Four, I was desparately trying to figure out who it would be. I thought Marcus there for a while, but he's just too stubborn to die. Nice touch with him thinking he heard Harabec at the end. That was cool. And there is no possible way to describe the battle with the Hellwalker. It was just too staggering.
Gah! *stretches* That was one heck of a chapter. The 90 kb chapters are really satisfying, but they really cause me to cramp up while I sit here. I *should* take them a little at a time, but it's just not fun that way. *yawns and stretches* Anyway, I'll be waiting for the next. Till then!
| The Big Fisch chapter 35 . 2/4/2004
Shit. Well worth the extended wait for the update (heh, rhyme). The battle was much easier to understand this time around. I suppose the adding of personality to the Hellwalker contributed to this. Hearing Bill and Henry go at it was oddly refreshing (but hey, maybe I'm just weird).
Hm, I wonder what the black shield liger is for? More importantly, is it really a good thing that Layon is interested in it?
The Kid is funny. Ok, great chapter, I hate you for fucking with my head, but its worth reading this story. I'm gonna go sleep and hopefully get healthy again.

| Vega Obscura the KIng chapter 35 . 2/4/2004
"Vega Obscura the King: Id bet anyone with control over the Micro-Sworder hivemind would do the same thing Vega did"
Damn right! Hell-gimme ona those babies and-*catches himself* er-*back away* nothing to see here...
" XD Youre also as insane as Akino for reading that much in 4-5 hours. If not more so. *Hands Vega a cookie or two.* O_o;"
And I wasnt feeling well that week-:) 4-5 hours isnt that long when you think about it-I coudl have watched The Two Towers Extended Edition and Monty Python: The Quest for the Holy Grail in sucession-but I read your story instead! WOO!
"And if you think Ive commited numerous AHBLings all through NA/ROC before, waitll ya see the shit I got planned for TOD... *Cackles like a deranged lunatic.*"
God save us all?
" And glad you understood the L33t Sp34k. I was actually somewhat hesitant to use it at the start, didnt know how many of my readers understood it, but it seems tove gone over pretty well, Id say..."
Id 54y 50 m3 531f 00! I am t3h only on3 o' m3 friends who appreciates 1337.
"And yes. Borealis is not your daddys Organoid"
:) No, he is not. And my muse has taken Borealis's-strangeness. T3h muse is named Bebo-and hes an organoid too. [Hm..he was originally a lazy mexican cab driver [part of a quickly improv with my friend], but I changed him to a bright orange organoid with a cigar and sunglasses. XP]
| Chaotic-Swordsman-Brad chapter 35 . 2/4/2004
I have not yet blinked. i'm afraid that if i do, this will all disappear and i'll have to wait another 2 mind-fucking months of re-reading ROC and NA before the real chapter 35 that doesn't even compare to the INCREDIBLE quality of this one comes up.
YES! it's still here and it's still the greatest and most INCREDIBLE chapter ever. It now ranks as one of the top three most mindfucking/ literary experiences of my life.
I am speechless (other than all the other stuff i wrote) so i'll finish with this.
Incredible, amazing, insane. these are three words that sum up ROC.
P.S. is there a particular reason you've decided to use Warcraft names as title? is it because they just fit so well? or is there a depper reason?
