I think this is the best chapter in an amazing alternate reality from ST canon. I think you picked a great starting point to take the story in this direction and everything fits together brilliantly. As Mike is my favorite character (I IDENTIFY with his geekiness!) I think you've hit on what makes him special, from his trying to understand why he missed El so badly to his understanding why El feels bad about Will and there are philosophers who live entire lives and write books that don't summarize as well as he does . . .

I really truly hope you are continuing this story! I personally love it and even though it’s almost a year later, I hope you have not given up on it.

This is one of the best Mike and El stories on here, a little upset about Will but the Mike and El stuff is great. Also love Nancy and Mike being closer than in the show, I felt like the shared trauma should have made them a little closer.
