Well, this is quite a twist. Though personally I don’t think I’d want to change my gender for a few more decades of life, but I guess that’s a price others are willing to pay.

Overall, solid chapter. The interactions between Rory and the Redemption Squad were quite on point.

It seems FitzGerald is the Irish version of Xanatos, seeking immortality and using both science and sorcery to accomplish that.

That cloning procedure certainly didn’t go as planned; I guess that’s what happens when you try to clone something supernatural.

It’s a bit vague on how the clone died though; did it just croak or did the real Cu Cuthilan mercy kill it?

To my surprise, I actually kind of liked Fang in this one. In canon, I always saw him as a douche at best, but here I actually kind of f0und him funny. I guess the scene with a sleeping Yama is the closest we’ll get to him opening up.

Looks like we’re back with Cu Culhian, and I must say you do a very impressive job with the character. What first struck me as a filler hero really finds his pathos in your fic, and I am truly left guessing where you will go with the character. He’s also crossing over with the main Gargoyles universe, although with writing of this quality he could certainly stand on his own.

I think so far my only complaint is that I’m losing track of these Illuminati members. This probably doesn’t fall onto you solely, but I think it would help if AOG would make something of a table of relevant Illuminati members.

Also, there was a nice touch here with Servarius. In the fic where they visited the Island of Dr. Moreau, one of the mutates mentioned he wasn’t doing real science, but playing with samples to see what he could do. His last quote in this chapter only confirms that.

I love your "Heroes of Ulster" fanfics so damn much.

Great action sequences, creepy ending, and I think Gerald might be our Emir. ;)

This is quite the interesting story you have going here. And this might sound weird, but I'm glad to see a fanfic that gives the limelight to characters that aren't the main Manhatten Clan. Especially the Redemption Squad. Definitely looking forward to more.
