Very cringe that he’d immediately trust the Malfoy family. There was absolutely no build up or reasoning to support it. It’s like a switch was flipped and his entire personality changed.

Damn I was really hoping I had 3 more chapters before it was over. Well despite being hilariously cliche about several things this story was amazing. The story is also old enough that it's possible those things weren't cliche at the time, so that's neat. I really loved the new characters and the stuff with Hermione was very well done. Thanks for saving the story for us.

Hesper is an observant girl and I've been imagining a scene where she starts to suspect HP can see their Dark Marks, which makes her paranoid. So she asks the Auditory Putty group: "I think I'm going insane, guys. Please tell me I'm imagining things, but I think Harry Potter can see our Dark Marks."
Instant pandemonium, and denial, of course. Then she puts the proof before them:
Harry went out of his way to help and involve her multiple times since the start of the year. Her, the only Dark Mage in Gryffindor. He didn't mind talking to Astoria and Morag at the Gryffindor table that one extremely early morning, and then there was the newly acquired fire breathing...
Astoria pipes up with the Echo's Cage incident and that being her reason to go to the Defense Association.
They all start to observe him and Hesper greets one of her Dark friends with the tattoo gesture and Harry doesn't quite manage to hide a smile. Then Astoria manages to figure out a way to do that greeting to Harry 'by accident' (likely with Runes as a pretext to sit next to him) before he can figure out he's about to be exposed. And then they KNOW he's Dark. And HE know he's screwed.
PANDEMONIUM!

Anyway, I wish there was more to read. *sigh*

Please write the next chapter already. Thank you very much. I really appreciated it and liked it a lot.
