I remember reading this when it was first being written. I think it got up to them returning to Hogwarts?
The attack on Hermione's home wasn't something I liked but her barging in on Harry to help him a couple chapters later was my favorite part of the story. There had been something about the phrasing when Hermione found those galleons in her pocket that was really powerful for me.

Somehow this reads a heavily mutated version of the original story by Raining Ink. For one i remember, Tate owned Obscurus Books. Secondly, Harry had to fight off the dementia and had to attend a court hearing where he was defended by Sir Lionel. He visited the Library after the hearing. Doesn't quite work out

Honestly the premise is nothing horribly new. The writing is well done though so I’m willing to give it a go just to see what happens with the idea of ‘Light and Dark’ magic. Which has also been done, but I’m interested enough so far to see what the new author plans to do with it. I Was under the impression that this was going to be continued so I hope it wasn’t pointlessly reposted...
