This how all good stories died. It's irritating reading a good story only to see it dead. This shows lack of planning, structure and pacing to the story. Looking back after reading the whole story, your story is just tension, tension and more tension. It does not have it's slow moment to contemplate what had happened. Especially you forced Danny's attitude to change on a whim cos, let's admit it, you're to lazy to even bother make a character development for him to change.

I recommend you look up Save the Cat. It is a story writing technique similar to the 3 Act Structure. It's a story guide planner that helps you plan out your story, gives it structure and pacing. It will help you plan out your high moments and low moments to create an awesome character arcs. If you ever do a rewrite, I hope you follow a guide and plan out your story. Even if you want to drop the story dead, at least it would have ended with an arc coming to a conclusion.

the thing with i think coil's power is that it also relies on the most likely part of a situation. his inability to know shinigami powers means that he is essentially blind to regalia's powers and movement

That was a ride. Finding good Worm fics is hard but finding a fic that incorporates other fandoms in Worm well is even harder. This story is pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

I've started developing a, if not boredom then exhaustion for Worm fics lately. Finding a fic where Taylor is a Badass without her crying, wimpy and constantly stuttering an I -um - uh- well storm for half the story is pretty rare. WGAE!Taylor was calm and confident which I absolutely love.

I also loved how this fic tackled the whole situation with Tattletale. Tattletale is my least favorite Worm character because she's a manipulative bitch and in most fics I read she always manipulates Taylor into doing what she wants no matter that Taylors predisposition (my least favorite parts of a Worm fic is when Taylor goes to the Boardwalk because we all know who she's gonna meet there). But in this one Taylor was in control. She didn't let Tattletale manipulate/control her and it was BLOODY AWESOME. Because of that I really enjoyed there friendship because it was one between equals not one being tricked and desperately needing the other. I really can't stand a wimpy Taylor.

I like how the battle between Lung and Taylor came about. Lung is arguably the strongest cape in Brockton Bay so I enjoyed the build up that the story went through before we reached that point, even though the story died before their fight could really ramp up (Pun intended).

Now to go back to reading fics with an angsty, whinny, wimpy Taylor...

...Woah. That was an amazing backstory for Bakuda. Usually Worm fics use Bakuda solely as a catalyst for Taylor characters development while leaving her, Bakuda, as the crazy 'Bomb Bitch' that the M has to get through on the way through the stations of canon but this, this was so well done.

During her backstory Bakuda felt so human I kinda felt like giving her a hug. I'm now feeling Thanos levels of sympathy for her.

I feel so conflicted right now...and I love it.
