All in all, a par for the course response from Brockton Bay. People will probably just assume a trigger event...and Morrigan's intervention might have left Taylor without bug powers. Which will leave everyone very confused. Thanks for the chapter!

Yeah, when someone from the Matrix thinks a place is bad and under-defended, you know that place is terrible. The lack of any response will likely keep the paranoia up for a while. I also am now wondering how Lisa's power will react to the girl jacked in. Either nothing out of the ordinary, or maybe a Thinker stroke. Could go either way. Until next time.

So, Not-Taylor just traumatized Emma and beat up Sophia. I know this is gonna get Taylor in trouble, but the pilot does not care. It seems that reality is gonna invade the Brockton Bay Matrix.

First thing I noticed: we don't know whether Morrigan is male or female, or if there were any hints dropped, I didn't pick up on them. I'm guessing female, given that Morrigan is the name of a Celtic goddess, but I could see it being a male name as well.

Personally, I don't really care one way or another, but I will be curious to find out.

A very intriguing premise for a story and a crossover. Will Morrigan get Taylor's 'powers,' or will they get a different set? Or will they just have the abilities the Matrix agents had? Morrigan probably won't be able to get up to the One level of asskickery, but even so, if they're anywhere close to what Trinity was capable of, that's going to make them pretty badass, even in the world of Worm.

I'll be interested to see in how Morrigan handles all the crap going on in Taylor's life. From the sound of it, I really don't see them just taking it, not without striking back. And then of course there's all the clusterf*cks waiting just around the corner. This is going to be a lot more exciting for Morrigan than they think, I have a feeling.

What I'm surprised no one's commented on is how much of a monster Hornblower and Morrigan are right out of the gate. "Oh, we'll temporarily override this person" "She's not popular, no one will notice" "Sucks to be her". I mean, come on, really? At least one of them should be _horrified_ at the idea.
