Harry's what eighteen now? I remember you said the characters are aged up four years. Personally I don't see the point of arbitrarily changing his age if he is still under the same limitations as he was in canon but whatever. The reason I bring the age thing up now is because he is legally an adult in the muggle world, so why is he acting like a subservient bitch to his uncle? What is the benefit of aging him up if this is just the same as canon Harry only now he's even more pathetic since now he's an adult being treated like a house elf? I'm guessing the only reason you aged him up was to allay your conscience when you start writing fucky-fucky scenes with Fleur. That's cool and all but the change in age should come with added benefits to Harry otherwise this is canon Harry that's way too damn old to be taking shit from his uncle.

So many things…

Overall, super enjoyable chapter… that said…

1. Why was Harry rude to the goblin? He needs their service. It’s like being mean to your waiter as they’re taking g your order.

2. 10g a night with a rate of 20 pounds to a galleon. That’s 200 pounds a night for a crappy little room, in 1994. You could stay at a decent hotel in muggle London for half that in ‘94.

3. Fleur has a sister named Gabrielle… not Gabriel, which is a man’s name.

Little things that don’t really mess with the plot (except maybe the goblin thing. Which is weird and very evil Pureblood-like behavior.

Why the hell should I read this shit if it's the same as in canon?

Dumbledore never tried fulfilling the prophecy. The only reason he acted on it was because he knew that once Voldemort found out (which he would, because Snape was thrown out in the Hog's Head), Voldemort would never stop hunting Harry.

Dumbledore straight-up tells Harry that he's free to ignore the prophecy, but that Voldemort would never let go.
