Dementor might be largely immune to mortal magic, but I can see the fair folk really messing them up. I could see some of these beings willing to join the courts instead of tom.
Say the fae are freed, could the never never be accessed once more or a version of it?
I wonder where and what these other places of power are. They could be useful in the future.

I'm glad you're continuing to flesh out more of the magical side of Harry's world without just inserting carbon copies from Dresden. I'm a little surprised that Harry didn't refine the wording of the deal, which I'm sure will work out to the Queen's advantage in some way.

I'm looking forward to adventures with Harry's fairy companion, I don't think I've seen that done before.

If he could make the students believe that he was actually communicating with some one real, it could bolster his reputation. His tutor can apparently secretly communicate and view Harry over extreme distances.

I am wondering if Sirius is linked to Harry via some godfather magic. This connection, and use of could allow for the dreams to be possible. Such a talent could cause Harry to dream about tom, if he experiences the brother wand effect again, and he dominates. That would be another magical link that could activate his dreamin talent. The use of his blood in the resurrection ritual could cause dreams. I wonder if bound to the triwizard tornement could have enough of a link for dreams. The thing is what could he learn from dreams concerning the other competitors. Who else would be linked by the cup?
If he could control/channel/target his gift, he could spy on many people. Say he hunts for the horcrux, he would see the ring in the shack, the diadem in the junk room, the goblet in the vault, and the locket hidden away in the house, he snake on the prowl. No actual knowledge of the location, some guesses hopefully.

I like that the cast is expanding a bit!

I'm glad that we get to see Sirius! I wonder how different he might be compared to canon! I hope he's as interesting as you've made Lupin to be so far!

I loved the bit with Greengrass! And I love that we finally get to see Harry playing the political game- even if his whole idea with it is to stay out of the game. I think I would like to see more interractions with his housemates- because so far, we've not really had much of that in this story. At least not in any real significant way.

I enjoyed the bit with Trelawney. I've always thought her character was interesting and horribly underused.

And as some have said, it's great to see Harry's friends acting without Harry. Even if he's the main focus of the story, these extra pieces of character development are always welcome!

Heh, looks like Harry's friends can take care of each other just as well as he can. It's nice to get a bit of development for them that doesn't center around Harry's own actions, and even better to see their own friendships flourishing.

Another great update. I love how different Harry is from his canon self. I also like how far you moved from canon while keeping the fic interesting. I liked the Daphne's line about Harry stealing her minion.

I like to imagine that Trelawney is a true Seer, but her class is fairly fake because it’s designed to root out the true Seers, as those who are truly gifted are rare
