It's a great story and I think she shouldn't join the Ward's.

I say not being in the wards gives her the most flexibility. It shouldn't be hard for Danny to recruit (forcibly or otherwise) a great support structure for her. All he has to do is make the offer in person. Plus then she could pick up bounties or fix problems that the authorities have been ignoring, thereby actually helping the people. Which would fulfil her stated goals nicely but with more entertainment.

Might also want to nuke "violations from" as it doesn't fit in your current sentence.

One thing puzzles me, why is Danny considered the 4th End Bringer, when your story has him appear before the actual End Bringers?

Have no issue with the rest being AU. But this would be stuff that should be "time locked" to use a Whovian term.

As for Taylor's powers. If she's still Arthropod based, rather than insects, as too many folks don't seem to know the difference (legs for one, insects 6, arachnids and scorpions, crustaceans 8.)

Than Serket is the only "heroic" name I can think of. Egyptian Scorpion Goddess.

Villain would be easier as Pestilence, one of Four Horsemen.

As you've indicated she's got Danny's powers with slight modifications.

Something decay related over napalm breath.

Could be mist, touch, some type of toxin/venom/fluid transferred by bite or spit or even stinger. Not enough info at present.

And on a side note, the mythological creature is apparently named Nidhogg rather than Nidhog.
