I don't believe I have seen Skitter in New Wave are showing their personalities in an interesting set of ways. I feel as though I know them as people not cardboard cutouts as they are often shown.

Taylor is a lot more realistic as an abused girl, who is recovering with friends, who can help.

This is one of your best works, I still like the Scion series, but this is superbly well done!

I gather Emma is going for the Insane defence.

Definitely an improvement. I am looking forward to the rest of the rewritten material and any new stuff.

Okay, the Piggot paragraph could be more fleshed out... holy shi* that was what I wanted to say for chapter 2. Bah, when the words elude you... well, me.
But it's transitioning pretty good.

Ooof. The escalation from "Sophia, what the heck?" onwards is a bit clunky, well, for my tastes, that's something you did better in your earlier work. The fight needs some polishing. It's nice that Flashbang got included, and the "wtf, Emma!".
And the rest feels nice, but like a rush job. Like you hadn't enough time to write it. How to say... It's not like a scene you'd write in *sigh* "Okay. What now?".

Well, it certainly is a butterfly of the same species. Let's see where you stramlined this story and who just rose in the morning on a different foot.

. . . almost positive searching Taylor's house like that would be illegal. Your story though, can do what you like.
