I just read the first ten chapters in one sitting and have to say how impressed I am. Interesting and original premise...good use of original characters and description of various military weapons...great characterization of canon characters...and the promise of strong and well-conceived-and-thought-out plot.

Just when I had despaired and written off as a source of good "grown up" fic, this story gives me renewed hope.

I eagerly look forward to reading more!
