I hate this bullshit of them expecting him to forgive the villagers without the villagers being held accountable *in any way*. Like not even an apology, not even having to out loud admit that they were terrible, spineless, hateful cowards. But now Naruto is expected to fight and potentially die for these people, but they can't even say sorry and admit they were wrong for mistreating a *CHILD*?

Easily one of the best written stories i have ever read, just after the first few chapters you can tell how much effort and thought went into this story, author-san should be very proud!

This story has, among other things, a terrible case of exposition dialogue. Almost every single conversation is direct to move the narrative forward or bluntly explain people's opinions on things. Some have character moments, but for the most part it's just the author having people read off their character bios instead of actually holding a human conversation.

The bit with the genin teams and the thoughts/frustrations of their sensei's just makes me think the best solution would be to trade teams for awhile perhaps. Gai's team keeps doing the same shit, Gai seems unable to fix it. Either give them to Ibiki to break them or try a different Sensei to get through their thick heads. The other teams lack in different ways.

I forget which fics, but I've seen a few where they make the rookie genin teams into a sort of platoon, mixing and matching genin and jonin so they all learn to work together and get different styles and areas of instruction. I always thought the canon teams for too predictable to fight against, only Team 7 really had the shot at being hard to predict but they got the least training from their Sensei eliminating that advantage.

This Team Kurenai is my favorite genin team from any fic, the team dynamic is just great
