![]() ![]() Are you sure that there is coffee. I though at that time there was just tea. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved it...I've been through difficult times and I'm still recovering...I can really understand the all "colors have never been this way before" thing... I thank you, these chapts were truly beautiful |
![]() ![]() I loved this and your portrayal of Elizabeth's feelings. Thank you! |
![]() ![]() I have just discovered and read your story. A great piece of FF, one of the best I have read. It is very well written, original, moving and telates a difficult subject beautifully. Thanks for sharing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow I just discovered this fiction, it's great! Bravo! So many things and emotions are shown in a few words. Straight to the point. Striking, overwhelming, moving. You describe Lizzy's depression so well with so good metaphors. And Darcy's circles, that's really awesome, well done! I like your unique style in this fiction. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wait... So Lydia is dead, Georgiana is dead, Jane is married to a dude she's not in love with which is not Mr. Bingley, and Mr. Bennet is dead. Man, not wonder her world is grey, and I feel bad for Darcy because he's trying to at least communicate with her but we all know how he is with communicating |
![]() ![]() Absolutely lovely story. |
![]() ![]() I liked a lot this fiction, I find it original, I hope to read others |
![]() ![]() ![]() I just reread this story for the third or fourth time, and have to say it's absolutely one of my favorite fics of all time, and I've read a lot of them. The language, the metaphors, the missing details, the images, the ideas, the situations - it all comes together just perfectly making a story of just 16k words pack more punch than quite a few novels. I appreciate the fact that you can trust your fans to know their canon and just roll with it, and I especially liked how it all came together for two such imperfect people who finally managed to come together despite fate and their own choices. Bravo, and well done. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I very much enjoyed your story. Thank you for sharing! For me it was a new perspective and that was a lot of fun. Since you mentioned the profanity in your author's note, you might consider changing the rating of your story. That choice of word to me bumps your story to a T rating. Just throwing that out there. That being said, write on! I will be interested in seeing what else you bring us. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Stupendous story. My father suffered from depression and when you looked at him you could actually see a gray mist surrounding him. You are a very talented writer. |
![]() ![]() ![]() What a wonderful story. Such a speaking description of ‘melancholy’ and a lovelyloverlybreakthrough into colour. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I just reread your story. If you ever take this down to publish, please let me know. It's such a great story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() "He sees her ghost in every lane, and then he saves her, and he gets the ghost." It is quite the crux of story. Such a poetic ending he tells her of circles she tells him of colors. It is good to see Elizabeth now seeing all colors at same time, after monochromatic vision of depression and hopelessness. Yes Elizabeth was in haze after her father's death and Darcy was so wrapped up in his own battles that he didn't notice. You gave a new perspective to Darcy's words on wedding night, he wanted to crush his own doubts and thought Lizzy will sweep them aside with a laugh, pity he who has lost two parents didn't take in to account what was Lizzy's emotional status at that time, since she was in haze all she could feel was father's death, a forced marriage, bitterness of sister and gossiping of mother and neighbours. Yet still Darcy being in own quagmire explains a lot why he he needed that assurance. A great ending of a great story. |
