Greg just too a fair amount of damage, so why in the stats at the end of the chapter is his HP listed as full?

Completely agree on the WILL idea. Always thought that if 'the gamer' specialized in physical moves he would be a lot more weaker than he is.

Makes no sense that something you gain through training the body would be able to create magic missiles and other.. Magic things. Point is, it makes no sense and the idea that (This is my interpretation) your will fixes this is great.

While magic is interesting and versatile, it isn't interesting when everyone just C/P the progression style of the original manga. The gamer.

Mechanics seem interesting, and I kinda like how Greg is portrayed. Childish, but not completely dense. Also, you might want to have Greg try and find something, ANYTHING, to help counter the Wis and Cha penalties. Or not, it's up to you.
Interesting mechanic with both Will and MP being separate.

out of curiosity could he rip off the stuff he likes? I mean with his intelligence stat if he were to upgrade it he could become a tinker bu if he focused on wisdom instead he could use magic to mimic the stuff he likes; he could become something of a conjurer only instead of weapons or a familiars he could conjure magic systems like The Force or something.

Damn that WIS and CHA score. Hhmm wondering he would place his stats into CHA to see if he would be more attractive to the chicks then WIS to help he understand why his CHA isn't helping him.

Lol, this is so a greg thing! Though I was thinking more Scott Pilgrim vs the World than The Gamer. don't get me wrong, I like the slow progression to OP as much as the next guy and having Greg figure out that all his actions actually add up to something would no doubt be hilarious but SPvstW blends the game elements without having to worry about stats or magic system. though I guess they are both basically the same, only The Gamer takes it more seriously.
