2nd last paragraph had a small typo with capitalization and you said Searching the Stars in Desperation. Anyway love the beginning so far but if it’s what I expect too many (like 60%) of ME Halo crossovers is finding the Dawn. Still not a bash just something to think about if you ever rewrite it. Maybe have it be a planet or something that Dawn is visiting

At this rate it seems that it will never update, hate good stories that update every couple of months or so.

Great story but did this author give up on their writing hobby? The unknown defender hasn't been updated in years and this story is getting close to a year.
