Good to know Ash will be an actual rival to the main character. Most SI get really bad when there's no one to keep up with the MC, but also suck when the MC is brought down to the level of every other pleb out there.

You do know rattata doesn't learn any water attacks other than rain dance right.

I liked the omake and how he basically said fuck that Ash. I like the Traveler but that Ash honestly seems just a black wardrobe change away from being emo sometimes.

I also really like the Pokémon roster you have going, it is very differnt than most fics have and that just makes it fun. As much as I love Lucario and Gardevour they pop up in every fic.

Not necessarily I've read a story that says if a trainer manages to get their training license regardless of age they are legally considered adults. Like in naruto with the shinobi license
