Btw i like it so far

I would only change 1 or 2 things to make this story great. Instead of making Eragon emotionally fragile you should make him harder than concrete, like no mercy doesn't care what others think about him and does what he wants. e.g. no swearing oaths to any of the leaders like in the books.

Love this story so far and can’t wait to see what you have planned next. I’m sure his uncle wasn’t the only one abusing him and I wonder how Arya will be able to convince Eragon to open up. The only thing I would have changed in this chapter was Arya’s approach in confronting Eragon. Since she is an elf I would thought she would have been more patient and careful, but could be over thinking it...after all she just went through a terrible ordeal herself. Great job overall and until next time!

Awesome start, and I like the concept of having a broken Eragon with a dark past. Please take your time and don’t rush this story. For example I wouldn’t have Eragon trust Arya right away. It should take time for him to open up and reveal his past. Overall great idea and I can’t wait to see what you have planned next.

This looks very interesting. Seeing as Eragon is portrayed to be a bastard i.e. an illegitimate child, etc... I'm assuming he fears touch from being beaten (or something even worse...)? Guess I'll find out.
