Great story

I just reread this fic. It was as close to an episode of series as I can imagine anyone writing: a casefile plus UST. Excellent!

I'm excited about your third book being released-in fact, I am already on the waiting list at my library.

What a wonderful surprise to find this fic. It felt like coming home. Like finding that place you loved, and had wandered away from and discovering it as fresh and amazing as you remembered. I asked myself if this story was really as good as I initially felt, or was I just feeling sentimental. Yes, I thought-it's really, really good. It hits the early fifth season notes perfectly. Mulder and Scully as true and real. And the original characters are so true and real as well. The pain of widowhood is so perfectly depicted, as is the caring of the other characters as they struggle to help someone who is both grieving and incredibly crusty.

This has a beautiful classic x-files fanfic feel, and I absolutely love it. I was really enjoying the story, then I got to the one bed and truth or dare tropes and squealed with excitement. Thank you so much for this and all your stories. xxx
PS This wasn't marked as complete which is why it took me so long to get to reading - my memory isn't suited to reading WIPs so I had to check that it was finished before I could start it. Letting you know so other WIP-averse people can enjoy it!

This was great! It conjured up lots of nostalgic feelings for me for the show. The moment when they find out there's only one room left in the motel and they'll have to share it made me giggle with all the memories of old-school X-Files fanfic.

Wow! Well, that went somewhere I wasn’t expecting. I guess the next question is did young Fox like that kiss enough to want more, was it an experience that changed him.

This is wonderful so farI love the role reversal you created here with Scully pushing the case and Mulder being the reluctant one. And the dialogues are so witty! Can’t wait to see where this goes.
