I love you for where you're taking this. Mulder is a sweetheart and I totally think that he would have reacted the way you wrote it. Your characterization of both Mulder and Scully is so good!

This is funny and so well-written! About 95 percent of the time, I'm guilty of skipping ahead when XF writers have characters tell childhood anecdotes - usually the stories are boring and the moral lessons are trite. This was such a wonderful way of allowing the characters to tell meaningful stories; I love their voices. Thank you so much for writing!
