Raven happens to be one of my fav charas because he is truly evil and driven (it helps to have those qualities when other peoples muses are trying to eat you...) and this particular story is a great show of those characteristics of the evil/driven one.

I liked that. I don't read much Raven stuff, because there's so much of it, but I'm always interested in Raven's-childhood-under-Prozen. And yeah, i picked up on the Tabris thing. Also liked your variation on Raven's reasons for hating Zoids.

Anywho, a brilliant piece of fiction. And if you read the manga, Earth is what is being referenced. Anywho, I found this to be believeable, and the stroking, maybe a sign if adoration of his courage?

I have no idea what possessed me to read this, as I have no idea what Zoids is or who the characters are. ;P But I guess that's good, 'cause then you can have a pretty unbiased perspective...

... and OMG this was so good. You are incredibly talented with language. The way you used it in some places gave it a lot of pace and emotion to fit whatever scene or mood it was, and the perspective of the character... combined with your use of imagery, the whole story was pretty powerful. I love how you delved into the human soul like that, with the two parts of the character Raven, and his motivations for wanting to change... I don't know what to say, I'm in absolute awe.

The only thing I was wondering the whole time was how old to imagine Raven to be... obviously by the language and the way he acted he was young, but I had no idea what age to concentrate on. ; But that's about it.
