An intriguing start to what promises to be a interesting story. I have read quite a number of "FanFiction" stories, and many have been enjoyable. It looks like it will likely take a few chapters to get all your main characters and store line fleshed out, but with the hints provided I like where I see this going.

considering you were obliquely referencing Cap, and not for the first time, I'm surprised you haven't mentioned the fact that he and Logan led the soldiers that liberated the camp Magneto was in, all those years ago.

...I think you meant Yakuza, who actually do do a lot of charity work in Japan during natural disasters, not tongs. Tongs are a Chinese thing, and not all of them are criminal in nature, so even then you probably meant the triads.

I'm pretty sure that Magneto could raise an island in international waters with enough preparation and tell the government to fuck off and invite the refugees to live on the island.

I'm actually pretty sure that Magneto knows several methods to block teleportation, though it would probably help if he knew the mechanics of Butcher's teleportation power.

I just compared that to my hometown, a decent sized city, but not huge. 9 of the top 10 employ more than that. 8 employ a thousand or more.
