![]() ![]() ![]() OMG! I adored this story. I was sobbing at the end. It was beautiful and we dont get enough Delgado OC romance fics so thank you. I'd love to see an alternate ending where he does rescue her. I think it would be cool to explore how their dynamic would evolve. (I dont think she could make him like the doctor level good but at least balance out his madness) if you could write that I woul dd's LOVE IT! Either way brilliant job and keep up the good work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() this was great..wow thanks for writing |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow. I think, if he HAD rescued Miranda, the Master would have made her into as close to his equal in villainy as any human could ever be. Would she have silenced the sound of the drums? |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was really good. It's a difficult balance to make the Master likeable without robbing him of his evilness and you did a very, very good job of it. And though I did wish for Miranda to get away with him, the tragedy made the whole story so much more powerful. Bravo! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aww... No happy endings for anyone then, eh? Very nicely written. :) I enjoyed. |
![]() ![]() ![]() More graphic than I expected when I began, but a very interesting premise to build on, whether or not the Master could've ever 'loved' anyone at all and why. Good introspective moments. The love-interest is a Sue (raven tresses, grey eyes, extra-petite etc.), but I found the way you dealt with her abuser to be quite effective. The contrasts between the worldviews and motivations of the Doctor and Master were well painted. |
![]() ![]() ![]() *Sneaks out from shadowy type corner* Usually I lurk... but I read this ages ago somewhere else, and I loved it so much! (well, mostly because the master is awesome! especially the Roger Delgado master...) I just love your portrayal of him. *sighs* it's a sad ending though, but I'm glad you wrote for the master. Thankyou so much, I just finished reading it again, it's so good :D |
![]() ![]() Very well written Master. About time someone recognised that he needed a break, even if it had to end in tragedy. You captured him so well. Please do more. I'll be watching out for it ... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh my God! that story was so great. The master is a great part of Doctor Who and should get more recognition. And this peice depicts him in a far greater light. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is one of the best things that I've ever read. The Master is such a fascinating character and this story showcases so many of his qualities and defects. It's very moving. I love it. |
![]() ![]() This is one of the best Doctor Who fanfics, I ever read (let alone, one centering around the Master). You really caputured the Master, with the way he thinks and reasons. This is the second time I read this story and it's still great. Although, the whole "nursing back to health" is an overused vehicle, it did get to where we needed to be, having the Master in a vulnerable state and open to Miranda (in his own way). Excellent piece. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Kudos! Kudos! And yet more kudos! You've managed to take what could have so easily been a cliche-ridden bit of fantasy fluff and turned it into an angst-y and tragic romance/adventure. With the (cliche alert!) dark 'n' brooding bad guy still as evil as ever when it's over for a change. And even throughout! The oh-so-heroic good guy being an unwitting tool of evil was a nice touch too. And he's still a good at the end, and throughout. These aspects and others make this a fine fic indeed, and more than make up for the (nitpick alert!) occasional grammatical gaffe. Nice work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh My God,. That is freaky. But i dont think i should have read it. I maight take somthing and not realize. I will try not too. But that is odd. I am glad thought that i am not the only one who thinks that the Master deserves a little love in his life. Even if he does come out still evil in the end. The ending was so sad. *tear* I love it. If i do evd up using something i will try to ask first but if it endsup in there before i ask i will make sure you get mention. |
![]() ![]() Well, that was delightful. The Master is, without a doubt, one of the most enigmatic and fascinating characters the series created, and this story certainly shows why. The 'nursing back to health and falling in love' is a cliche, but really, I didn't care as you write the Master so well, and Miranda was an interesting character in her own right. Enjoyable and entertaining, this was a great fic. ) Cora. |
![]() ![]() Very touching. The Master a relucatant lover and The Doctor, unwittingly, on the wrong side of the fight. Please write more Doctor Who. BTW,great tissuecompressor death. I could feel that. In the series they look like tiny dolls but the graphic way they get down to that size makes you realize why the Doctor would examine such remains with distaste. Because he KNEW the process the body went through and the pain before it became dollsized. ICKY. Good. |
