I read your reddit comment and you said you'd update this story one day so i was hoping you'd do it soon?

Typical Cat... Fuck everything up for everyone, then demanded promises for them to fix the mess he's made... As if she didn't make any of those messes in the first place.

He should not have promised that... Don't make promises you can't make good on.

Their arguments make little sense... They're exhausted sure. But so are Stannis's men, they've been fighting for even longer than they have...

They were a silver bullet, until you mucked it all up with indecisive and vague orders...

What he needed to do, is get the right ppl into the right positions, to all strike at the same time. To avoid butterfly effects mucking up his plans. He could have set the board for himself in a very effective manner.

Personally I'd have focused more on Daenerys, she's the faction he really needs on his side in the long run. And most of the rest I'd be spinning a web around to position himself better.

I'm wondering about the comments who praised this fic. I can't even get this far without skimming the chapters.

I'm not liking this stumbling around, just feels like a waste of time for small misunderstandings during the story that doesn't really add anything to the story

This has been such an exciting read! Im so bummed as it looks to be on a bit of a hiatus (hopefully not abandoned).
You did a phenomenal job of giving this SI such a fresh take on things, from the MC to the steps taken and outcomes of the battles, its been a splendid read. Who would have thought I would be rooting for the Freys?! The Freys?! You did that author, I am still a bit confused at how much I dig them.
Following on the chance your muse strikes and you return to this, I’d be eager to see where you take this. I suppose seeing him rally the other Kingdoms (sans Dorne because they know Aegon is a mummer’s dragon and just want Aryanne on the throne) and having folks declare preemptively for Dany would have him in a pretty good light for her arrival but I’m so curious about when he plans to drop the Jon bomb. And, AND he was specific in his declaration that no Riverland’s men would go North, lol. They’ll NEED people for the Whitewalkers, what then?!
Ugh, such a great read.
