I think this fic just sucked everything I wanted. I'm glad that this fic is as light hearted as possible. I'm sick of reading OCs dying at the end. They're great. But I can only rip my heart for a few times to finally being sick of it. So imagine my surprise how this fic left a hollow in my heart. I think the ending is great. It's perfectly tied. It's like the last fading note to a piano piece. Great writing will always leave us a little hollow. Thank you for writing this.

Very poetic

When I read, “That Distant Life,” I actually rushed onto your profile in order to find out if you ever did create an epilogue featuring Torito in Shippuden. While I was sad to see that one didn’t exist, I was super excited to read this story.

Coming from that story to this one I can see that you’ve vastly improved as an author. Haruka just feels more fleshed out right from the beginning than Torito did. (Not to say I didn’t love Torito because I wholeheartedly did and still do.) I also just like how you’ve developed Haruka’s antics and the characters surrounding her. I appreciate the similarities between Torito and Haruka but I also love how vastly different the two are. The directions their stories went are completely different but they both carry a certain similarity that made me instantly like them. I hope I get to read this story to it’s end one day and find out what paths Haruka winds up taking in life.

I really hope you update again since you brought up another chapter. This story was good and I looked forward to them leaving Kohana.

Can't read it. If your going to change basic things there needs to be an explanation. Why is Tobirama still alive.
In Canon Hiruzen was already Hokage for awhile before taking on the Sannin due to being made Hokage when Tobirama sacrificed himself. That needs to be explained, same as Orochimarus parents being alive.

Also quite ridiculous to constantly have 9 year olds call themselves men and woman and talk about their libidos. Again there is no explanation why the sannin are best friends before being on their genin team.

Get that it is a si/oc.

Wouldnt hurt to in first chapter or description state AU Tobirama alive, Orochimaru parent alive etc so its not so jarring.

This is my third time reading this story and every time I find something new that i wasn't able to see before . It's quickly becoming one of my top ten favourites if only for it's uniqueness and for having a wonderful characterisation of Orochimaru that i haven't seen ever before. I would love for you to continue it but if you are writing for a different fandom at this moment than I hope that in the future you would have at least the time and the interest to give it a good ending.

Love it pls continue to update. Can't wait to read more about their leaving konoha.
