![]() ![]() ![]() Great chapter |
![]() ![]() tfw I thought I was getting a story, got 250k words of kirito trying to force people to leave a boss room instead... Did you just like, completely give up this story and use chatgpt to generate an unending diatribe between the existing characters in the first floor boss room!? WHAT HAPPENED. It was a neat story in the first half, if not for the endless skippable filler, but then it just turned into nonstop endless filler, like, I don't even know what... I don't know what to feel except extreme disappointment, but I realized it's stupid feeling that over a bad book, so I'm just gonna move on instead. |
![]() ![]() ![]() poor yui and asuna going throught torture porn poor kirito in his paranoia and lack of trust causing his own problems via domino effect poor kayaba even as he has to deal with an exploiter kirito |
![]() ![]() ![]() kirito is just plain out paranoic at this point |
![]() ![]() ![]() Boys, I know you might think the story has been abandoned but I assure you it has not. It has simply moved to LeviTamm's discord, which you can join from his bio. It currently has up to chapter 24. |
![]() ![]() All and all a bit of a let down. This started out great but flew off the rails around the time he quit grinding and tried to become a mini merchant. He never finished his quest for the acid ring in favor of wasting a days and weeks practicing moves. He pointed out he needed to solo the level 1 boss so he could be strong enough to do the same to above lvl bosses but immediately upon failure the first time he gave up. The second time he didn’t even try to defeat the boss. Letting the raiding party go in ahead was absolutely retarded and made zero sense. Unless he was willing to watch them all die why was he even there? Because he was obsessed with some stupid invisible attack? Then that whole confrontation with the assault squad after was unnecessary and stupid. Story wise it would have been better to just have had him defeat the boss solo on his second attempt. I like the way this story started. The MC was smart and I always appreciate a decent realistic rise in power from an MC but got really stupid. If you want the MC to stay away and run the solo rout don’t make up stupid reasons for him to interact with Asuna. That whole raiding party scene shouldn’t have happened. If it was life or death he absolutely needed to be the one to solo the boss then giving the assault team a chance to do it first made zero sense. Such a let down of a potentially great story |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is a amazing story but it’s super disappointing that the last update was around 1.5 years ago and they left on a cliffhanger |
![]() ![]() ![]() This fic is absolutely wild. I reread it again over the last few days. I love the way you've written the game mechanics and the characterizations you've done. It's such a unique take on Aincrad and incredibly well executed. I'm looking forward to reading more whenever the next update comes! Poor Asuna though, hope she gets out soon! |
![]() ![]() I'm waiting for the sequel |
![]() ![]() RIP this fic o7 |
![]() ![]() For those who don't know, the next two chapters are up on Levi's Discord |
![]() ![]() ![]() Fuck man Asuna was tortured...Dang. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This fic is a blast! I binged through this entire fic in like two days and I’ve really enjoyed it. I love how op Kirito is in this fic but also how believable and understandable it is for him to be so along with the feeling that is never and will never actually be safe ever. I’m not a hardcore gamer but I do play some and the explainations of how the game works in this fic is very understandable to me and makes it believable that he could have gotten where he has. I reread the fight scene in chapter 19 so many times and I enjoyed him just deciding he was going to win at everything forever and then just doing it. For some reason the whole thing with Ill-Fang’s secret attack and all the Beta Testers that it probably killed was genuinely terrifying/horrifying (Kirito’s right, it is absolutely more terrifying when he’s trying to be sneaky about it). Asuna and Kirito have such and fun dynamic and I enjoyed their interactions way more than I expected to. Asuna decided that she was going to befriend Kirito just like Kirito decided he wasn’t going to loose and I can respect that about her. Arigo thinking that Kirito hates her is so sad, especially while her thought process shows that even if Kirito at least has very good reason to not trust her with the fact that he is an Orange player (I personally don’t think that she would turn on him if she knew the whole story but Kirito’s paranoia has been the only thing keeping him alive and he’s probably a bit traumatized what with accidentally killing someone and then being stabbed to a tree and left to die.) Speaking of, Kirito’s certainty that he’s an awful person and just unlikable in general making him think that everything that Asuna said was a lie is so sad for everyone involved (not that I’m not hyped that he gets to solo the boss it’s just a bit depressing how it got there.) As for Kayaba, I’m not going to lie, him having no clue what’s going on is a bit hilarious to me and makes me what to see him absolutely tearing his hair our over all the ways that Kirito will inevitably break his game. It does make me wonder about the wall of life though, did his name just appear on it out of nowhere a month and a half into the game without anyone noticing it? Anyway, this fic is great. If you do ever try publishing more chapters I will definitely read them but thanks for ones you already put up, im glad I get to read them. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Stayed up all night to read this. No regrets, this is seriously one of the best fanfics I've ever read. The world building and the details about how the game works are amazing. Really cool to see how you portrayed all the characters, and I look forward to a update someday. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I reread this basically constantly- it's been years since I first found it and my love for the fic hasn't gone away. I know you last updated this several years ago and there's no way in hell you ever will, but I still just wanted to say I love this fic so much. Every chapter has been a gift, and the fic itself has inspired so much of my own writing. |
