It is an interesting story and I hope you haven't abandoned it. I am a fan of stories were a massive change such as the death of the main character changes the whole story.
While I agree that Mist starting to train is important nothing is going to stop her from using staves to heal as well so please don't remove it from her.

The Attemptted Rape Felt Like Cheap Attempt at Drama.. But on the Otherhand.. It Does Happen alot in War.. .. One Concern is That I'am worried ThatvYpu Vould be rushing Mist Devopment and Skill with The Sword.

The Only Reason Why Link was Skilled with a Sword was Becuase Ike Was Teaching her during the 3 Year Timeskip and maybe suring the Mad King War. Look If Chractes has No Flaws then She is A Mary Sue.. Everybody Has Admirted Mist has No Flaws proving my point

At Times We Have To Seperate Gameplay from The Lore... Rolf Was Rookie Archer... But In Radiant Dawn He is A Sniper.. .. Kurthnaga Have Weak Stats in Radiant Dawn.. But In Lorewise He Destroyed a Castle with One Blast and Intimdated Ike and King Tibarn.. Forcing The Laguz Army To Flee. Lol

She wiild Alondite in Radiant Dawn.. Well Thatbis Gameplay. Lol.

Another thing to add is That Mist Was Strong enpigh To hold Alondite 3 to 4 years later. Lol

I feel sorry that Rolf died, but now I have to wonder if Titania is even wiling to continue the quest. I hope that you have the laguz from the sequel join their group as well. I liked the addition of the Laguz to the series but thought it was sad that you couldn't have a raven or a lion in your group.

I gotta say, some of this story makes me laugh. Like when we found Soren with piss and shit on his bedsheets, while his attempted suicide was in such a way to avoid getting blood on Ike's half of the room. I think the scene was supposed to make me feel disgusted, but it came off as silly to me, all I could do was laugh. That might just be me.

I think the larger problem though is how overwritten the story comes across. I feel like more effort to trim the fat would go a long way here. Often times in dialogue sections a character will say something then 2 or 3 paragraphs of narration will follow before the next character responds. It lends the dialogue a sort of start-then-stop rhythm that feels unnatural.

So many of these sections are just diatribes of Mist's emotional state and most of them could be cut entirely with no impact on your story. In fact I feel like cutting them help as they often take me out of the moment, breaking the imagery and immersion you've worked to create. I've found myself skimming and skipping well over half the words in this story, yet I can still follow.

She can wield Alondite in Radiant Dawn

I don't see Mist being able to wield Ragnell as a sign that she is a Mary Sue at all. This is Fire Emblem after all. I think that Ragnell is a bit like the Mani Katti that Lyn is able to wield. It is a sword with a soul and chooses the wielder not the other way around.

So Weilding A Legedary Two Handed Weapon does not make her A Mary Sue?.. Okay

Bah. Mist wielding Ragnell does not equate to her being a Mary Sue. I don’t even leave reviews on , yet here I am…I’m always peeking back to check on this. Ignore whoever that person is. I’d say this is a good opportunity for Mist to develop beyond that “supportive little sister” role. Although…yeesh. What a way to go, Ike.

Anyways. Keep doing you. Also, Soren is my absolute favorite Fire Emblem character. My poor baby.

Weikding Ragneel is proof Mist is acary Sue.

Anyone with common sense knows what a Mary Sue ids.

Oh, the 'mary sue' talk is starting already ? Shame for you, it's very problematic for an author to have that kind of thing. It's a stupid stygma that bother every writer ever.
Oh, she or he can do X, it's a mary sue, psh, gimme a break.
I, for one, don't think she is a mary sue. Now if she could kill someone, other than with our Lord and Savior the Medallion, it'll be perfect.

Speaking of Meedallion-kun, I've seen that scene coming, and boy, that added with the almost rape scene. Mwah, delicious writing.

Damn Mist has it hard, she is still mourning the death of her family and now this situation.
I hope that Rolf gets a serious lecture from his brothers. Running into battle as he did is just stupid. With such an action he endangered those he wanted to protect as well since they have to concentrate on him as well.
