| Lost Aragami chapter 7 . 8/2/2020
"Finally, some good food."
I'm pleasantly surprised to see that this story updated. I've been waiting for a long time, after all.
Now, onto the actual review.
Impeccable as always. Not only do you manage to keep grammatical errors and awkward sentences to an absolute minimum, you also manage to keep the story entertaining, despite the length. This is the kind of story that I wouldn't mind waiting through numerous delays for, just to read the conclusion.
Keep up the good work, Author!

I'm so glad to see that you haven't abandoned this story. I enjoyed reading this new chapter, especially since you write these beloved characters really well. As for the chapter itself, it was fun to see how the dynamic between Hikigaya and Yukino continues to evolve, especially now that Yuigahama has been added into the fray. It also makes me wonder what you have in mind for the upcoming events, since it will obviously be different from the canon. As for the fluff, it is more than appreciated. I love seeing the cute interactions you seamlessly put into the scenes, and it never fails to warm my heart. I hope to see the next chapter soon!

Yes that was a fantastic high quality chapter, thank you! Fluffy is good, I like to see Yukino and Hachiman getting closer.

Thank you very much!
You just made my day.
Also, please don't worry too much about your writing since it's still nice enough, in my opinion.
Again, thanks for the update and stay safe! Don't forget to wash your hands and wear your mask!
| An Average Writer chapter 7 . 8/2/2020
I didn’t mind the rehashing of canon events since there’s enough differences to make them distinct. For me at least, fluff moments between Hachiman and Yukino are never unwelcome and given the context of their relationship in this story, I didn’t find anything out of place about either. I do love the way Yukino knows Hachiman well enough she can effectively predict his thought patterns before he can even voice them. I did like that bit at the end where Hachiman was searching for a way to try and describe his relationship with Yukino whilst pointedly avoiding using the word friends, not because they aren’t, but because as far as Hachiman, and Yukino to an extent I suppose, is concerned the word is loaded with negative connotations. I could probably tie this into the events of the actual novels but that may be getting to spoiler territory, come to think of it do you actually know how the story ends or are going into the third season blind?
I was always hoping to see how the tennis match between Yumiko and Yukino would go in this story would have gone given the altered dynamics we have. Especially when we learn later on that the classroom confrontation between them, with poor Yui caught in the middle, went even worse than it did in the novels due to Hayama not being present to placate things before they got out of hand, hence the hostility on both their sides here. I have to admit I chuckled at the way Hachiman collided with Yukino because he’s not used to playing with a partner that actually tries to work in tandem with him, that was nicely set up during their tennis practice in the previous scene, and more interesting to me is that it only happened on Yukino’s side. I wouldn’t be surprised if Yukino’s experience in tennis doubles also mainly involved her doing most of the work herself, more because she probably doesn’t give her partner much of a chance to do anything, so the fact that she trusted Hachiman to pull his weight from the beginning is just another sign of the faith she has in him.
I have to wonder about one thing though. If the match was anything like it was in the series, the rally would have drawn a significant crowd and given Yukino’s reputation, and Hachiman’s lack thereof, I wonder if some of the students weren’t wondering if there’s something going on between them given how familiar they’re acting. The two, Hachiman in particular, did make a point on not meeting in public to prevent weird rumours from springing up after all though of course Yukino has previously left hints of leaving that mindset behind.
Hayato is still making an effort to befriend Hachiman I see and of course the dynamic between them is always interesting to read. In the novels, Hayato made a point on wondering if things would be different due to Hachiman’s presence and I wonder if this Hayato sometimes wonders how different things would be if Hachiman wasn’t present during that day at elementary school.
What’s most interesting to me overall though, is how different the relationship between Hachiman and Yui is or should I say the lack of relationship. Not to say it doesn’t make sense. The issue with her being the owner of the dog he saved has never kept a secret from him so that particular conflict has been nixed before it could become an issue, not to mention the way he basically waved it off when it was brought up. There’s also the fact he never interjected his own advice during the cooking lesson and didn’t make as much of an impression on her as he did in canon as a result. At present the two are currently more along the lines of acquaintances or “the friend of a friend” as Hachiman puts it. Still that’s not to say there isn’t potential for further interaction going forward there’s still the matter of the cookies she intended to give him as thanks of course but I’d also imagine she’d gradually wonder about how he and Yukino are so familiar with each other.
Anyways that’s about all I have to say for this chapter. Hopefully you won’t have as hard a time writing chapter 8 as you did chapters 6 and 7 and I hope you continue to enjoy writing the story as well.

This Yukinoshita and her interactions with Hachiman are so much more wholesome!

I've been waiting for this!
Haha yeah, can understand how difficult it is to write a character without outside influences, especially someone else's character
Don't have anything to review, just do what you do

nice to see this back. definitely lighter than previous chapters but its a welcome change. The quality isn't as good as previous chapters but its still very good.
some canon events going with minor changes. dont really mind. hayama being annoying as usual, but the most interesting thing for me that came out of this is how Yukinoshita truly thinks of Hikigaya. I assume that Hikigaya will do something but I'm not sure when.
Good stuff and glad to see you bacj
