This story is wonderful. Don't know if you intend to finish it but if you do I would read the rest of it.

I really like this story! I kind of hope that Harry becomes more involved. Or maybe him and Ron end up fighting. Or something... Maybe getting Harry to switch houses even would be interesting. I do like that Harry is trying to stick with Hermione and be friends with her though. I can hardly wait to see what happens next!

Wonderful story so far, a very intriguing plot that I hope to be able to read unfold.

wonderful story. a resorting story from first year on, HG being in slytherin is much more appropriate than being a lion. the snakes will raise HG up and nurture her skills.
Teaching is a ambitious position that few have the understanding of. LV recruiting and molding students from early on would have made a more seamless overtaking of magical England.

Excellent chapter! Hermione is being lured with kindness and gifts, while Severus is being lured with power and the safety of the children, even Harry.

Tom is not anywhere near stupid enough to mess with either.

I wonder if Quirrell/Tom is going to hunt down the Horcruxes or leave them be?

I must admit, this story is one of the few I will ever review and mostly because it is very unique and I am looking forward to the continuation. The characters are well carried and the plot so different from most that I am thoroughly entranced. I hope to read more soon as it is absolutely well worth the read.

Yup, Tom is working at the old stand, corrupting students and influencing teachers.

And I can also see Snape schmoozing with Tom and figuring out just who's behind that turban.

Ah, but Albus benefits from his teachers being too overworked to complain about or change anything. He especially benefits from not allowing any of his teachers to become rivals in creation (note that he won't teach anyone in Alchemy, why is that, I wonder?).

But Hermione is going to have to suck it up about flying eventually.

However, that little lesson about wandless magic was definitely alluring to Harry and Hermione, as it was meant to me.

And yes, the broom was blatant favoritism, as is Harry's place on the team. I'm surprised that anyone but Snape objected to it, actually.

I see how Snape is helping Hermione with her status in Slytherin (that was sweet of Mr. Nott, it really was). It's sad how her parents seem to not worry about their only daughter.

But Snape's memory of past interactions is very good, as it should be in a world where Polyjuice means people can masquerade as others fairly easily.

It was the right thing to go to that Quidditch game, and Harry really was playing against the rules (Hermione is a rulebook reader, I'm sure Percy Weasley would understand). But of course Slytherin will lose on appeal, because Slytherin always *must* lose, yada yada.

And...books are the best way to corrupt Hermione, because she truly believes all books are right. Oops.
