Why didn't harry use the shielding charm like he did in the alley to protect Narcissa from the tomatoes? Or a water repelling charm? You'd think he would have learned that one after dobby used it on his glasses last year... It'll be interesting to see what you do with winky and how you handle Hermione's crusade for the the elves. Interesting twist, but hermione's presence through the whole thing, especially with dobby available seemed kind of pointless, just a bit. That could be my bias talking, but only marginally.

How many times is pansy going to show irrational jealousy before she just lets them 'out' their relationship? She keeps angrily ambushing Harry over other girls when he hasn't given her any reason to doubt his commitment.

Speaking of, their relationship seems a bit lopsided, she gets upset at him and he has to get her forgiveness. He questions anything to do with her plans, she gets pissy, and once more he has to get her forgiveness. He does as she asks (referring to sleeping with Narcissa obviously) and he has to get her forgiveness. That's not really a healthy relationship, the only thing that really goes both ways for them is sexual behavior and even then Harry tends to her every need (and then some just for the sake of being with her) while pansy uses her reciprocations as a reward or a distraction (not to say she doesn't have sex with him just for enjoyment but often enough, she has an alterior reason to go with it)... when do we get to see the formula flipped and pansy has to get Harry's forgiveness?

I feel like Harry should have been more on Ron's side this time. Even though Scabbers was Peter they didn't know that at this point. The fact that his sheets were bloody and had the cats hair should have had Harry taking Ron's side, the fact that he didn't just so Hermione wouldn't cry was bullshit. As far as they knew Ron just lost his first and beloved pet to Hermione's cat, Ron deserved to give her the blast for not controlling her own pet, especially seeing as her pet found its way into the BOYS room, it wasn't a common area or the girls area, it was the one area that Scabbers should have been safe from the cat. That being said, if 'Scabbers' got eaten /after/ they find out about wormtail, then no harm no foul lol.

Wait... why did Harry slit his throat with the spell (actually thinking back to the death of the Parkinson patriarch why did Harry have HIM slit his throat? again, boundaries? and I forgot to add why I think the time turner was bullshit. It was an unfair advantage. She got to take more classes than anyone (which if she would have been allowed to keep up with all of them would have been more OWLS and NEWTS too) and had all the time she could want for extra study (even if McGonigal had told her not to you know that she abused that more then a few times that year which meant that she had more time to study for tests/finals/extra homework time than anyone else and the advantages just spiral from there...)

I hope harry figures out the time turner bullshit soon. I honestly don't see what the school was thinking letting her have the time turner in the first place.

I am personally not a fan of hermione so I am kind of hoping that her little stunt with the firebolt in year 3 will break that friendship (yes I am a bitch like that but with friends like her and ron, who needs enemies?) but I have quite few chapters to go before I get there and who knows if it will be included at all...

A a side note I hope that the apartments have silencing charms layered between them, with Pany's love of dancing and harry learning (and mostly likely stepping on her toes) there is potential for a lot of noise this summer and possibly more later on when they become sexually active. Somehow I don't see his neighbors being appreciative of noise from upstairs after having the building to themselves for so long...

Speaking of the tenants, did you think about having harry draw up a new contract (with the same terms as the first) with an added privacy clause? might be useful and cover both parties back sides. While they don't WANT to share info on Harry it would protect them from HAVING to share info with say, Dumbledore
