I find it curious that this came very shortly after Slug and Dumb speculated on how to deal with Riddle. ObliviateDreamless sleep would certainly deal nicely with main Riddle and then they would only have Riddle-copies inside extant horcruxes with memories up to moment of their creation and they would have plenty of time for treasure hunt.

Year Four is done and I'm still missing the explanation on that accidentally dead dragon from the first task. I know Harry doesn't really care, but, if hunting laws check out, its carcass is now his property and it's very widely known how popular dragon parts are for wizards (heartstrings for wands, blood for potions, skin for boots and clothes). Besides, Pancy already read up on some available rituals, it would be intriguing to find if there is any way to use a dragon freshly slain in physical combat for ritual.
Oh, and they were planning on something funny for Theodore Nott, looking forward to it in summer.

Why is it so much to ask to read anything different FOR ONCE? I've read the same reiteration of canon third task DOZENS of times and I'm seriously considering dropping any fanfics that deal with 3WT because of that.
At least fanfic authors have a decency to not always pick Moody as the mole or place 3WT in other place than Hogwarts. Stil, arrrgh! Not looking forward to next few chapters if it is groundhog's day again.

So, what happened with Nott's attempt?
I know I view this from muggle viewpoint, but if he tried to spike Pancy's drink with love potion, this should constitute rape attempt. Even if he gets off easy being underaged, surely an expulsion would be in order if evidence holds? I can't believe the school that handles out detentions for occasional swear words would let it slide easy.
