This was an amazing read. Start to finish. I couldnt stop reading it! Very well done!

I thought this was a masterpiece. I've never read fanfic before and wasn't sure what to expect. I thought this was better than published fiction works I've read. It helps that we have so much backstory and worldbuilding going into the story. Perhaps that is the allure of fanfic. I was particularly captivated at the way agoraphobia was portrayed and the psychological effects of trauma. I was able to picture everything happening without thinking about it. I felt enchanted reading this. And also traumatized myself as I felt wholly captivated into the story. The paranoid monitoring of the window in the scene of the first safe house made my skin prick and I found myself paranoid reading it alone in my house. The spiciness in the flashbacks gave me my libido back, so I must thank the author for that. (The word dragon-porn keeps flashing in my mind) (; Thanks for a beautiful story all around. Everything tied together and was so detailed. I didn't think I'd ever enjoy a war story so much. I find myself feeling for this story the way the characters feel for each other: possessive, afraid of losing it.

The one inconsistency that caught me was when Hermione says she forgot to bring a sobering potion for Draco, but then after she apparates following the rendezvous she grabs a sobering potion from her bag and swallows it. There were a couple of typos throughout that made me have to guess the meaning of the sections, but it wasn't anything critical. The effect of the story supercedes any critiques I could have of it. I'm desperate to find more writing like this.

This was amazing. I wasn't able to put it down till I finished it. Never thought that I would like Draco and Hermione together but man it was smoldering. A bit slow in the beginning to be honest but the pace it picked after the first few chapters had me glued and invested.

I absolutely loved this twisted version of my favourite series. I've never really liked Dramione as a ship but now they seem to work sooooo well!
This was recommended by a friend who read it before me and loved it. It took me a very long time to read after them but it was worth every moment.
It was so wonderful reading about the characters in this way; damaged, vunerable and for Hermione, invisible but strong. I loved how the world was created and adapted to fit the storyline.
As a New Zealander myself, it was funny that Aurore ended up going to school there. We Kiwi's are proud of our little island.
