An excellent story! Spent the entire last week catching up on everything. The premise of the story is just so intriguing, setting Rose to be tortured for so many years, and ends the prologue with her escaping, yet not quite sure where to go, making the story's theme about recovery and healing rather than escaping. I really do feel bad for Rose in this story, it's just so hard to heal for her, and the damage has been so severe that she could never be the same again, but she's making progress, a step every day to finally recover. The rose harem part is pretty awesome as well! Didn't know this is the path you'd take but it makes sense, the Fallen White Petals part though is a bit, unbalanced I should say. Don't get me wrong, I love the pairing, but personally it feels very overshadowed by other aspects for the story. I'll try to elaborate, Cinder's role in the story starts to diminsih after the confession with Ozpin, her introduction and the original plan is for her to be the motivation and reason Rose escapes the Oni tribe, but other than that she doesn't have much chemistry with Rose. While Weiss's first kiss with Rose is to comfort her after Rose discovers Cinder is trying to infiltrate the CCT, Cinder's first kiss with Rose is to hide from the Ozpin and Ironwood; while Weiss is going to accompany Rose to meet Taiyang in future chapters, Cinder is staying behind; Weiss is the first person Rose liplocked with when she's drunk, while Cinder and Neo is the 2nd and 3rd respectively, and I noticed that Weiss actually had a lot more scenes with Rose compared to Cinder, and idk, but from the story I get the feeling Rose is more interested in Weiss than in Cinder. And now with Weiss crushing on Cinder as well, this whole relationship is going to be even more complicated. And not to mention if the three of them is to end up together happily ever after, how will Rose's other girlfriends Neo, Emerald, Blake and Ilia react? They can't possibly just quit that easily. But enough with the relationship issues, let's talk about other characters, you've written all of them on point, and all of them fit into the story really well, I'm very impressed by that. Even minor characters like Junior has good characterization. Though one thing I noticed is its a very character driven story, which isn't bad at all, but the pacing could be very slow sometimes and I can feel you worried a lot about how some characters would react to certain decisions. If some of the characters or scenes are too frustrating to write, I would suggest maybe cutting it off, the story can still stand with its many subplots and characters. You mentioned you receive every notification of the story, if you're still active on the site and just haven't found the time to update the story, don't worry, readers and fans will still stick by you no matter how long it takes. Take it slow if life is busy, writing can be damn hard sometimes and the stress of life can be too much, nobody can fault you for that. Those who do simply aren't worth your time.
