That final scene where he stops to whisper, "No doubts, Bella" - that was a powerful scene physically and emotionally. It was enough to convince her (probably anyone) that he was sure and devoted. Beautiful writing.

Despite that, I personally have a hard time with lifelong promises. How can you know who will be, or someone else, in 20, 30, 40 yrs? I've been so sure of myself, only later to see I've grown, changed, improved (?) or not, learned new things, contemplate other pathways. Promises can be lost in the best of intentions. The absolute scares me.

Wonderful, wonderful! This love story is so beautiful. I listened to the music at the head of each chapter while reading. I thought it would be distracting, but it actually added to the mood. Thank you for writing and sharing.

Awww, the girls are all grown up. I love that Amy ended up with Finn after all. That’s really cute. And, I like that one of them is dating/marrying with an age gap. I liked how you gave us a glimpse of their girls growing up. From the pregnancy, through the birth, then onto them as toddlers. I’ve wondered how parents of identical twins kept them from getting mixed up. One story I read, they’d paint one single toenail on each a specific color and they’d always know which was which as infants. Changing which nail each time. Bella talking of all the animals he kept bringing home was very cute. Thank you for giving us Edward’s voice one more time. Him taking the reader through their adolescence to the first teen years and their first dances. Eek! They are great parents. Oh, they got that expansion I’d hoped they’d get for their home too. Yay! Your bottom author note reminded me of Judy. I was just thinking of her last week. Missing her posts on Facebook. Wondering what she’d think of Rob and his longer hair these days.

Awww, twinners, yay! It was wonderful that Esme came out again. Sadly, Carlisle found an excuse not to. I hope he gets over himself. At least Bella was happy he didn’t come as she didn’t want to deal with him. Edward must be so sad that his father is being such a child about his life. It was a great idea to use that larger bedroom for the two babies. Makes sense, as Bella and Edward weren’t using it, from the memories that asshat out Bella through in that room. Hopefully, having the babies in there will erase any and all of those. Replacing them anew. Looking forward to another Edward pint of view chapter. At least I hope that’s what you meant by some Daddyward time.

What a wonderful wedding day. It was absolutely perfect for the two of them. Their nearest and dearest. The church ladies doing the pot luck food and the beautiful cake. Carlisle’s words were strange but, I guess he was finally accepting of the two of them. Sort of. At least he wasn’t rude. Esme was quite happy. Very good day.

I loved that she told Edward that she loves that he takes care of her. It’s so important to let the ones we love know the little things they do for us mean a lot to us. If you don’t, they may stop doing it, as they think it isn’t wanted or appreciated. The little things in life are what make day to day life easier and happier. She keeps thinking about them not having enough room for everyone when they visit. I think they may just do the expansion I’d thought about earlier, when the funds are there. I loved the moment when they decided to start a family. I’m thinking they may do that really soon. Perhaps even before they get married. She’s got so many friends and loved ones in her life now. They both deserve that. I’m so glad they have that.

I was remarkably surprised that Carlisle spoke up to Bob like that at the car dealership. It was good to see he didn’t like his wife being overlooked by a misogynist. I loved that the manager was a female that came out to help them. Bella even asking how Amy managed to have Bob in her employ. Her explanation made sense . . . he came with the furniture. Wonder how often she has to come to the rescue like that. At least she got the situation smoothed over and fixed. Salvaging the sale. I’m glad his parents are on their way back to Seattle. I’m sure Carlisle is even more happy than me to be returning home.

Carlisle is lucky that Bella recoiling from his yelling at her was the only thing that happened. I think if something more came as a result of that, he would’ve lost his son speaking to him for a very long time As it stands right now, he’s on very thin ice with Esme. Even though they didn’t mean to eavesdrop, I’m very glad Carlisle heard what Bella said in that kitchen about how he made her feel in her own home. Edward was wonderful in this chapter. Bella was so strong and so good. Seth had some really good insight into what may be going on with Carlisle. Not that it excuses his behavior at all. Esme was fantastic. She has definitely accepted Bella, the ranch and her son marrying her. That is a giant relief. Maybe when Edward gets that money, at twenty-one, they can remodel their home a bit to accommodate a family. Have a larger kitchen and dining area. Actually, with the way her sales are going, they may be able to do all of that without his inheritance. I love that Esme wants to get them a truck. When they said a golf cart, I thought one of those four wheelers with the truck beds on them would be better for the terrain and carrying things around. Perhaps they can get one of those later too.

I loved learning that Esme ripped into Carlisle after gathering the eggs. I really liked that Bella stood up for herself against Carlisle when he started to question her in the barn. Edward telling them then that he loves her and they are planning to marry. That was a really good way to show his parents how much he cares. That ending was great. Explaining all that was done so far that day and all that still needed to be done. Then Edward saying that Bella did it all alone for a long while, before he came along. I am hoping his ass of a father learns to respect her and her strength. She doesn’t need their okay to marry their son but, it would still be really nice, especially for the man she loves, if they did give their blessing. Esme already has done a one-eighty and likes Bella. She even apologized for her behavior the day before. And, insisted she call her Esme. That’s a good sign.
