![]() ![]() ![]() thanks for the chapter |
![]() ![]() ![]() good :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() He actually decapitated it when he tried to break its neck, the decayed flesh and bone much weaker than the freshly dead zombies he'd dealt with before. THIS! THIS! That's the shit I hate absolut that 'Walking Dead' shit. And your explanation about what should happen to the zombies is spot on. Wear, tear, nature and animals After a year or three their bones should be so brittle the should fall apart from their own movement, or a strong breeze. |
![]() ![]() ![]() your writing is pure heroin. i need more. want to say i love you but feels |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oof, at least only half an hour. ... They'll feel that missing later. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Holy massive updates Batman! I need to check my message alerts for this site because I haven't been getting them. Thanks for sticking with this fic! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yay! An update! And it's awesome, thanks! |
![]() ![]() Dedicated ships at sea would be a mixed bag. People die of natural causes, even at sea. And that is presuming that they were not transporting a body back to another country, as unlikely as that would be. If there were no dead bodies, then the ship would be the safest place to be, provided they had some way to look into each room to make sure no one had died in their sleep. If there were dead bodies, depending on how fast they discovered the infection before it could spread too far and too many people to be quarantined by closing hatches and doors, and people understood what was happening... a ship could be one of the more terrifying places you could be. |
![]() ![]() Nah, paranormal, yes. Superhuman, no. (would call it para-human, but I think that got swiped up by some other series/genre) Buffy would be on the very low end of Superhuman; like, any lower and it be at the very limits of what a healthy, fit, and on the larger end of average height, human body can do, low end. My personal head canon is that if she took care of herself from the start, she'd both be taller, more filled out, and stronger than she was when she became the Slayer. But, yep, seasons 1 and 2 was more supernatural comedy, especially were regards Alex. But his accomplishments aren't anything that an underprepared Batman couldn't do. (Even in this story) But that is where paranormal comes into play. Because while the Batman wasn't mainlining the Bat Totem like Spiderman does the Spider Totem, Batman is still the Bat Totem's champion, so he's basically constantly peak human, with a hefty dose of luck. I'm, only half certain that Alex's is the Hyena. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Xander saved Amy Madison, so don’t forget Giles wanted to train everyone in basic magical theory. River Tam could have a natural talent for sorcery similar how in “Firefly” she was a psychic reader. As a defense against raiders and pirates, maybe lay down protective wards by carving runes into the barge’s deck or hull. Maybe anti-boarding enchantments were created by British sorcerers during the Golden Age of Piracy (1650-1730) to protect merchant vessels. FYI, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Watcher’s Council (or unaffiliated British sorcerers) were heavily involved in the Royal Navy and helping maintain naval superiority. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting to see Xander's relatives being almost human. But yeah, these zombies are the slow and stupid type. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is such a fun fic. Looking forward to more. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Don't know what sparked you to write a couple more chapters of this one, but I'm certainly glad it did! You know until the comment about the wild West except with more tech, even with the inclusion of the firefly crew I hadn't really notice the parallels. Always fun reading your stuff, never fails to surprise me, also usually gets a chuckle out of me here and there which is a huge plus! I look forward to whatever you put out next! |
