Gamer Mechanics don't quite mesh well with Fairy Tail for some reason, and though I was so tempted to make it one, I decided against it." - the main reason why there is so few FT fanfics is very simple, and Im sure that you already know what it is. FT is trash. The reason why FT and The Gamer dont work is very simple too. Its the power of friendship. FT characters can become as strong as they are needed to be to save the day. Dragonslayer magic is a fucking joke cuz they never killed any dragons with it. Even the big bad Acnologia was beaten/killed by Ichiya (perfume perv guy), FUCKING ICHIYA, by ramming his Blue Pegasus flying battleship (Christina?), pushing him into some bullshit magic vortex. Why was Acnologia bad? Never explained. Mavis and Zeref story is shit. Natsu is unlikable blockhead. Even characters with names Blockhead and Rockhead from a shitty novel are more likable. The author of FT is a fucking delusional retard. "Character is not dead if I dont feel like it" - and here is another problem, The Gamer ability is too ruthless for "if the writer doesnt feel like it, then Im not dead", cuz if your HP 0 then you are dead. I can go on and on about FT and why it is so shitty, but Im not gonna do so. Maybe later.
