Wow - Lorelai is willing to take her little family of four into (basically) the bowels of hell. Wonder why she thought Emily had changed in that time (probably desperately hoped that Emily had had enough time to make a change). But alas, Emily believes that she always knows more and better than anyone else. So, Emily being Emily, she RIPS into Lorelai about her decisions; Emily is further enraged by the words of the terrified little ones. Why does Richard allow Emily to continually act in such an unloving, unmotherly fashion? Does he not realize that these horrific words further scar Lorelai thus strongly decreasing her ever wanting to return? How can Emily justify her strong liking and approval of Christopher the slime when he has NEVER ONCE held Rory or come to see Rory? Emily endures; Lorelai is sad - but she has Luke and pizza and two lovely children. We'll see. Thanks. More soon please.

Just found your amazing story - read all three chapters. Got to say that this is truly creative, a good backstory. Sorry about Liz' attitude, behavior; sorry about Emily's attitude, behavior. (Way to equate them, right? Wonder what would happen if Emily knew that about me? Ha!) Luke and Lorelai get along really well - even a relationship starting (good!) Buddy and Maisy and Mia are just amazing. Ready to adopt - great - but is the lawyer a female with the initial N for a first name: I hope NOT! Hope Rory is well soon. Very nice work.
