I absolutely loved this lazy and stupid bit felt so natural and fun and real. Jess' laughter was so authentic. Eating breakfast, playing in the snow...all so heartwarming. Luke's dark day was so much better when he let his family in and let them help him. Sometimes, kids can be the best Jess and Rory are so smart. It was so cute when Lorelai and Luke were asking each other about the alphabet.

Cute chapter and great writing. I can see Rory going crazy to learn her letters.

When my daughter was 3, she was just like Jess, and my son was just like Rory. I completely understand Luke, and I would have probably acted like him not wanting to leave him, but Lorelai was right..he was fine. Jess as a little boy is the sweetest! I like how Emily was with the kids- warm and loving. You captured Soo,ie so well, I could practically hear her giggling!

Luke, stick to your guns! Lorelai did guilt him and you know it! A stupid promise over a date with sookie doesnt trump jess! You left him when he wasnt ready! She should feel guilty! She didnt have to go! Kids come over friends. The baby stuff was cool though. Love the name!

I bet that Rory really made Babette's day: she is the first townie to know! I like any of the name possibilities, so no help to you there. (I did actually like the Milo possibility - but it is gone; that is fine.) Rory and Jess alone at night at the elder Gilmore home - hmmm, let me think about that a bit. Hopefully it goes okay but both Rory and Jess LOVE their mom and dad and evening routine. And, Emily's orders may have to alter in lieu of tears and sorrow. We'll see. I really like Theo and Charlie. I think it’s so cute how Lorelai and Sookie are friends at this young age, and are kinda growing up together. Jess and Rory are really becoming adorable little people!
