![]() ![]() ![]() 1-36 always beings me to tears. It, like this whole story, is beaitiful and tragic. Its hurts more to realize that we may never see them reunite, as our author moves on to whatever is next. We will never see what came of Tali and Wrex, or Garrus and Liara, or JD and Mai. This is and shall always be one of my favorite stories, and I hope that one day I might be able to come back to it, finished, and start this adventure all over again. |
![]() ![]() Man the quality difference between now (14) and the previous chapters is a definite step up. Loving the story so much and would imagine it would do wonders for new readers if you found the time up edit the previous chapters, some of the grammar was a slog but the plot made it worth it |
![]() ![]() ![]() This story really needs an update! just reread the whole thing and im feeling starved! I hope everything in your life is going ok so i dont blame you if you've been busy. |
![]() ![]() JD spending eight years in the Corps (seven as a ODST) and he's still a private? Either the USNC has the slowest promotion system ever or the author made a mistake. JD was a Lance Corporal in Halo 3: ODST (2552) and he'd enlisted in the Marines in 2547. So, an E-3 (per Halopedia) after five years. H'd likely be a corporal or sergeant at this point. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Its so funny seeing all these Destiny callbacks |
![]() ![]() ![]() Not gonna lie…. I just read you said you helped wrote for project wingman….. ima just wanna say thank you as someone who loves ace combat and who had played Project Wingman multiple times…. Just remeber… Belka did nothing wrong |
![]() ![]() I've really been enjoying this fic so far. Loving it all from the lore, to the humour, but seriously, McDonalds survived in both universes? Really? I kid, I kid. Loving it so far, probably my favourite fan fiction I've ever read, and that's saying... not much but something? The first Halo fan fiction I've come across and my second Mass Effect one. Thank you for writing such a banger so far, I just had to get this off my chest as I continue reading. |
![]() ![]() I've seen more coherent dog chow than this... sheesh. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well damn, this is one of more interesting crossovers I've read that doesn't involve the Chief or Cortana that much. If the little bits back into the Haloverse are anything to go by, whatever UNSC, Covenant, Banished, etc, is encountered, might just be the survivors of a much bigger war. I mean, resurgent Insurrection backed up by Sangheli survivors, the Didact waking up to find himself proven right, and the fact that nobody knows about the Flood yet? Seems like the Array was fired a second time. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The end of Section 1 was absolutely crazy. It literally kept me up reading until what, 1:16AM at the time of writing? First JD got the Courier Six treatment (with Cash only adding to the post-apocalyptic cowboy wild west opera that was FNV), then we got Nihlus with the WH40K reference, everything keeps me guessing and coming back for more. If JD ever comes out of his coma, it'd be funny if he had a mark on his helmet (if he ever gets a new one or it gets fixed)where he got shot, "A Krogan was here" with arrows pointing where the entry wound would have been. Not sure if it'd fit in with JD, but I know it would fit in with the morbid humor soldiers usually have. Always keep me guessing, it's been a long time since I've found a read this good in terms of character expositions, knowing when to turn up the drama, character interactions and just storytelling in general. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Just reread this and still love the story. Can’t wait for the next chapter. |
![]() ![]() You are an amazing author! This story you have created is so well written, epic, and captivating. So captivating, that ive binge read this from chapter one to chapter forty six. I hope you enjoy writing this as much as i have enjoyed reading it! |
![]() ![]() Trace Reading: You're correct. The existence of Stockholm syndrome is highly dubious. Swedish police came up with that when the hostages of the 1973 bank robbery accused the police, not the robbers, of endangering their lives. It's much more likely that the police tried to cover up their grossly incompetent handling of the situation by declaring the (female) hostage had developed some mental condition and shouldn't be believed. Modern psychologists largely hold the view it's not a real thing. Trying to survive is not an illness. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow just wow, I binged this in a couple days and was just so amazing. Btw you got to get noble six a robotic hand, kinda like the one Anakin has and maybe it little more human than robot |
