Reviews for STG Investigative Report : Maxwell Manswell |
---|
![]() ![]() ![]() Seems STG is off the mark here ... While I doubt Manswell is going to Solo Shepard anytime soon, his physical abilities are more impressive than "not dying while going to bed". Then again, that is somewhat impressive. Also: It's "Neue" Technische Universität München, nicht "Neu" Technische Universität München. Kudos. |
![]() ![]() ![]() How does one get access to the armory by s*itting into the comms dish? So that is how the STG Master is made/born/created? They are chosen by the previous one, then borged into the ultimate leader of STG? With the next one doing the same? So...if the STG knowns of the numerous Alliance Black-Ops plans, why haven't they collapsed these yet and let the political blowback affect the Alliance? Isn't that why Cerberus was created? |
![]() ![]() ![]() The /sarc with this installment was positively lollercopters ;) "Upper body strength of a parakeet" some reason sent me off on a laugh-fest that almost choked me. Love it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Again, the brutality and humor meld well. It's not hard to see that Maxwell Manswell is your Premiseverse' version of WH40K's Emperor of Man pre-Horus Heresy, or perhaps before the final killing/undying blow. Perhaps not the Psyker Guiding Light of the Warp (never got into WH40K, liked WH better, who knew?) but he is Humanity's guiding light, older than sin, and controls everything. The sub-comments about Aish Ashland, Al Saud, and the poor Andromeda Expedition just shows insight and intrigue. Hell, I never actually thought about that; did the Nexus and Arks bypass Harbinger as he waved and said "see you later?" I actually figured out the logistics of that trip after one writer coined the Arks "flying gas tanks" and I actually sat down and thought about it. 10 light years a day will get you to Messier 32 in 634 years. One Alcuberrie Drive needed since... No Mass Relays. Can't build one, either, unless... did they fold space for the initial jump? Now if You'll excuse me, I'm populating a civilian ship full of dragon's teeth, turning tourists into rubber doggie chew toys. After Tali hacked everything (and spent 5,000 words describing how that works). |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yes he's a monster, but goddammit he's OUR monster! Manswell 2020! |
![]() ![]() ![]() The bit about the STG agents infiltrating the Manswell Expedition might be the funniest thing I've ever read. Nice piece! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well, that was a most welcome and amusing story. I must say, I am excited to see the fruits of the clash of wills between Tim and Maxwell... it would seem date like fate and idealilogical differences would have them fight.. and even Tim seems to pale in comparison to The High Lord of Sol. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I have no clue how you guys do it. It jumps between horrific atrocity and gut-busting humor with every line. And is still deadly serious about what Max's story. He struck me as someone who has lived a very full life, that personally has transcend conventional definitions of good and evil. Very Ubermensch |
![]() ![]() ![]() Jacob did quite a work about Maxwell Manswell. Well done! Maxwell is a genius and have a Paranoid Personality Disorder, given his focus on goals, supreme self-control and strong will. |
![]() ![]() ![]() There are so many interesting bits I can't do this piece justice with this review. The bits with the brazillians and the islamic religion caught my attention, as I always wondered if there is more to those dark times than we know. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The best thing about these reports are the agents slowly going more and more insubordinate with every mission because they believe their superios want to kill them, and i feel like they are probably right. |
