My curiosity is peeked. What happened to Martha and Alexis? How bad did Rick handle it? Could there be something sinister lurking? All valid questions that I’m confident the author will address while taking us on an incredible journey.

Odd that the editor who contacted her apparently didn't mention Castle's life changes, but then perhaps he wanted that information kept secret. From her, at least.

What a fantastic start! Interesting that Demming and Josh still happened without Castle around to prompt them. I can easily imagine Kate staying one foot out the door and giving up on a relationship that quickly if it wasn’t going her way. Devastated about Alexis and Martha, and the impact this will have on Castle. So glad you are back writing!
