Only 4 chapters, but shocking on each one. Alternative that preserves characters, rooted on the canon and well resolved. What a great story!

I really enjoy the way you write Castle - it is the way I imagine him to be, a smart, funny loving man who has a badass side that only comes out to protect his family.

Brilliant! So glad we got that conversation between Castle and Beckett- they really are kindred spirits now. I kind of like an adversarial Gates and Beckett standing up to her. What did the boys end up doing? Great story, i love your take on things

I don’t have a chance to post many reviews, but I had to let you know that this story was brilliant! This is the first story I’ve seen that dealved into how Castle would act if he was not allowed to come back at the end of a Season 1. Very well thought out, and well written.
I can’t wsit for your next story!

Dark but not as dark as UNM. I don't like to see gates like this but she probably could have done something like that earlier in the series

What an interesting story! It did not go the way I had expected it to.

Such an interesting story, and I love that they wrote a book together. I hoped that’s what Kate meant when she said she had an ironic request for Castle. I also hope they eventually develop a romantic relationship, both of them deserve happiness and love.

It would be great if people (Coyote Pup 4) actually paid attention to the details of the story. Kate Beckett had absolutely no idea Alexis was dead and even less she was murdered. Besides the 12th is not the only precinct in the NYPD.
